  • Fabulous Whistler Getaway

"If you are looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Whistler, Kim's home is for you. Located just a minute's drive from Blackcomb Village the accommodation was clean and spacious, great for our group! More than enough plates, cutlery and all the serving materials you would have at home. Quiet area, perfect if you are looking to get away from the city. Many walks and hikes nearby. More than enough bedrooms and beds for a large group. Our group had a fantastic experience, I would definitely stay again!"

  • Great location

"We stayed in the Spanish Banks suite for a week with our two children, ages 12 and 14. It was great for each of them to have their own bedroom space. The apartment is on the basement level of a large multi-suite home in a perfect location in Kitsilano - a two minute walk to the beach, parks, running trails, shopping and numerous food options. Hard to beat. If noise above your head bothers you, you might want to bring a noise machine of some sort - it didn't really bother us. Kitchen is large and fully functional. Large screen TV with cable, although we never used it. The outdoor patio was nice to use during our visit (an unusually warm and sunny stretch for April). Everyone we met was pleasant, and it was great having a washing machine and dryer available ($1.00 each). They provided us with recommendations for restaurants and where to find basics we might need. Shampoo/conditioner/soap, etc was provided, and they also left a lovely welcome basket with food items. I could see this apartment being a little dreary if you had a rainy week and/or unmotivated travelers, but we had neither and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our favorite sushi restaurant was Hitoe Sushi on 4th just past Blenheim - went twice we liked it so much. Also liked Thai Food by Montri on Broadway. Enjoy!"

  • Great spot for for families, family reunion and summer fun.

"I know Whistler is supposed to be all about the skiing. We decided to hold a mini-reunion at Whistler mid-summer. We choose the Ski Shack because of its location, configuration (based on the pictures), and the reviews. We couldn't have been happier. The set up was great for two families. There was plenty of room. It is well appointed and very comfortable. We cooked in most meals and the kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of space. The upper village is an easy walk and there is a free shuttle bus to and from the villages. Also, because of its location it was super quiet. We had a great stay and highly recommend the Ski Shack."

  • An oasis in the city

"The property was well maintained and very clean. It had all the required items you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The privacy afforded with a separate entrance, yet the comfort of knowing if there was any thing you needed they were a phone call away, was just perfect for us. Transportation and shopping and restaurants were a short distance away as was the lovely Queen Elizabeth Park. Jacob and Ilana were terrific hosts offering recommendations and providing answers to any questions we had. Toffee, their lovable cat, made brief visits to their yard and was very beautiful. We will recommend their place to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay while in Vancouver. We look forward to a return visit."
