  • Great location, facilities

"We had a really nice experience at NorthStar. The location is so close to the Village Stroll, as well as the grocery store and amenities. The communal pool and hot tub were excellent, much bigger than others we saw. Other guests there also commented that NorthStar was their favorite among other options, especially with kids. The condo is nicely equipped and was comfortable for myself, my folks, and my 2 kids. Our April visit allowed us to ski one day and mountainbike the next! The kids Loved it. We enjoyed the fireplace and comfortable chill time too. We had one small glitch along the way but found the owners to be very responsive and communicative. Instructions were clear and complete. I'm thankful to another reviewer who mentioned the garage clearance, as our roof rack soft case just squeaked in. And although parking was extremely convenient, we never used our vehicle - everything was that convenient. Our Whistler highlights were the Peak to Peak gondola, Pinocchio's Furniture mountain bike trail (YouTube it), PureBread bakery (again, Very short walk from condo), nachos at Girabaldi Lift Co after skiing, and snowball fight at the Roundhouse Lodge. We'll be back."

  • Great Condo, would love to stay there again!

"We (group of 4 from Germany, 44-48 yrs old) stayed at this condo for 8 nights to enjoy the Whistler snow. We stayed at the Greystone Lodge once before so we knew about the perfect location and all the amenities provided (ski lockers, pools, free underground parking, walking distance to the village). The condo fitted us perfectly as my brother and a friend had both a single bed and their own bath while my wife and I had our own bedroom with own bath, so no hassle in the mornings regarding showers etc. As Greystone is a true ski-in/ski-out we never had the need of a car to get to the lifts and/or slopes. Nevertheless as we drove up from Seattle, the free underground parking was a special bonus (street parking in Whistler is kind of impossible). We were provided tea and coffee for the first days, kitchen was stocked with some basics (spices, dishwasher detergent), and having our own washer/dryer in the unit was perfect for our ski clothes. From the building you can walk easily to the village plaza (about 5-10 minutes) and the village stroll where you find countless bars, restaurants and shops. The owner (Craig) answered every email in no time and when a small issue occured, he solved this matter to our total satisfaction. All in all, we would love to stay here again and would highly recommend to friends and family."

  • Lovely getaway!

"The host was welcoming, helpful, considerate and very responsive. The location is a great place to be visiting Vancouver as you are 10 min downtown but just across the way from North Vancouver to hit Lynn Canyon, Grouse, hwy to Squamish, Whistler, etc. Great running trail 2 blocks north of location, and close shops, grocery, etc. Suite has all the amenities, and more! Lovely gardens to enjoy as well!"

  • Great location

"We stayed in the Spanish Banks suite for a week with our two children, ages 12 and 14. It was great for each of them to have their own bedroom space. The apartment is on the basement level of a large multi-suite home in a perfect location in Kitsilano - a two minute walk to the beach, parks, running trails, shopping and numerous food options. Hard to beat. If noise above your head bothers you, you might want to bring a noise machine of some sort - it didn't really bother us. Kitchen is large and fully functional. Large screen TV with cable, although we never used it. The outdoor patio was nice to use during our visit (an unusually warm and sunny stretch for April). Everyone we met was pleasant, and it was great having a washing machine and dryer available ($1.00 each). They provided us with recommendations for restaurants and where to find basics we might need. Shampoo/conditioner/soap, etc was provided, and they also left a lovely welcome basket with food items. I could see this apartment being a little dreary if you had a rainy week and/or unmotivated travelers, but we had neither and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our favorite sushi restaurant was Hitoe Sushi on 4th just past Blenheim - went twice we liked it so much. Also liked Thai Food by Montri on Broadway. Enjoy!"
