  • Extremely Cool cottage

"Absolutely loved the lakehouse. It was 1st time to Whistler for us and our best friends from WA state. The only surprise was that we did not get much lake time the first few days of our trip, there was so much to do in Whistler that we were on the go constantly. Amazing vacation. Don't miss Peak2Peak, Cheakamus Lake hike, and we really enjoyed the Bobsleigh track tour. The house had lots of amenities we were not expecting, very well stocked. We stayed around the lake the last two days, must say the paddle boards are harder than I expected. Overall a 5 star stay. We would recommend to all our friends and relatives."

  • Great Location - Comfortable Home - Well Managed - Fair Price

"My Family stayed in this walk out basement suite for 4 Months from Jan 1 - May 1 2016. It was our 1/2 time home base and it couldn't have worked out better. I spent a lot of time trying to find a place and through my research, I couldn't find anything that was priced better in a location like this. The walk to the village is perfect as it is just far enough to be peaceful and short enough to run home before ski school if your kid forgets their gloves! The home was furnished a step higher than you would expect for a little basement suite like this. The master bed was really high quality and the couches, coffee table and TV make the living area really nice. The kitchen is well stocked as well. Angela was really helpful. There were a few minor repairs to be done while we were there and she tackled them quickly and at low impact to our stay. We made it work with three kids under 5, but for a family of 4, this is really the perfect spot. P.S. Our kids logged a lot of hours riding their bikes around the private cul de sac, building snow forts in the woods, and playing with the other kids on the street."

  • Wow!

"Wow, this place is just amazing! We were a family of four generations, 7 adults and 2 preschoolers, when we stayed in this beautiful home. It was absolutely spectacular and loved by all! The location is incredible, with stunning views over the bay. We saw eagles, blue herons, geese, swallows, hummingbirds and several species of songbirds right from the deck. An otter in the bay entertained us regularly and the frogs' evening chorus delighted everyone. The property is beautifully landscaped with gorgeous gardens following the steps down to the semi-private beach (great for beachcombing!). Several sitting areas offer rest stops along the way. There is also a small lawn area for children to play. The house itself is outstanding. The vaulted ceilings, massive cedar log beams, 2-story fireplace, 2-story wall of windows and gourmet chef's kitchen would be a wonder in themselves, but when you add all of the high quality furnishings and art pieces, it is simply phenomenal. The views from all 3 levels are breathtaking and the beds (firm) are a dream to sleep in. The bathrooms were great (love the rain shower) and the double jacuzzi tub was a huge hit for the kids! Everything was high end. All that said, what really makes this property shine is the warm atmosphere created by the owners. Devi was amazing right from the start, before we even arrived. She assisted us with our planning and offered great advice and support. Upon arrival, she gave us a full tour of the house and left us with an incredible array of treats and snacks. What a welcome! We felt so at home, we didn't want to leave. Thank you, Devi, so much for sharing your wonderful vacation property with us. We truly appreciate all the effort you put in to make sure our stay was comfortable and special. It was truly unforgettable and we can't wait to return! It is one the most spectacular places we've ever stayed!"

  • Canadian comfort

"A great place to set up home. We are a New Zealand family that stayed with a 4 month old and a 22 month old. We all loved the lake nearby and made use of the pedal boat, row boat and board (life jackets provided). Our 22 month old was most impressed by the trains, and we had plenty of warning it was coming and felt safe although it is nearby and not gated or fenced off. No trains during the night time while we were there. Cabin was cool during the day and cosy at night and the little ones slept great. Amazing place to stargaze and catch a shooting star. Kitchen had everything you would need for cooking and good BBQ too. Pity we missed the rodeo up the road, but we were busy anyway, maybe next time. All up a great place to stay."
