    "My wife and I stayed 4 nights at this terrific property. Trish and her husband Al were very easy to work with. The apartment had everything we needed, but the best part is the location. We were about 10 min from Granville Market via the False Creek Ferries. So easy, but if the weather is good, the walk (or even better the bike ride) would be the cheapest way to get there. We loaded up on groceries for breakfasts and even ate a meal or two over there during our stay. Davie St is a very short walk up the hill and we were able to catch the bus to wherever we wanted to go. The public transportation was such a good option for us. The whole city felt easy to get to from either bus, bike or just on foot. Would definitely recommend this property for either 1 or 2 people visiting downtown Vancouver."

  • Great for a reunion of friends or family!

    "If you have a large family or group, Jen and Mike's home is a great home to rent. Besides being clean, comfortable and cozy, the house provides enough beds to easily host a group of 10 (and more). Our group of 8 had plenty of room to sleep, eat, hangout, and enjoy each other's company. A last minute addition (surprise guest) was easily accommodated given the number of beds and bedrooms. And thank goodness there were three bathrooms for eight people. Best of all is the location. In just 5 minutes, we could walk to Commercial Drive where we found restaurants, shops, grocery store, etc. Most mornings we stretched our legs with a walk (10 minutes) to the gorgeous Trout Lake park. Also the neighborhood is quiet with ample parking (we had two cars and were always able to park in front of the house). As noted in the rental description, the main unit of the house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and comfortably sleeps six without using the pull out sofa in the living room. The downstairs is a full, 2 bedroom apartment with 3 beds, plus a pullout sofa in the living room, full bathroom and a nice kitchen. It's a perfect setup for a young family traveling with other family members or friends. Note that Commercial Drive is a convenient mid point location in Vancouver. We easily drove to Coal Harbour and Gastown for shopping and dinners, North Vancouver to hit the Etsy fair and the Grouse Grind, Granville Island to eat, shop and buy produce, and of course, the airport when it was time to leave. Finally Mike is a great host. Once we arrived, he stopped by to make sure everything was fine. He helped us get acquainted with the area, and made us feel welcomed. Everyone in our group enjoyed the stay, and felt it was the perfect setting for our reunion."

  • Excellent property, location and views

    "This two bedroom apartment has everything you need from a fully furnished kitchen, layout and best views of the harbor. It's located in Coal Harbor which is a 15-20 minute walk to Gaston, 10-15minutes to the art museum (where there is an excellent Picasso exhibit) and shopping. My wife liked Nordstorms and all the pleasant shopping in the vicinity. Renting bikes is easy and we rode Stanley Island and all over Vancouver. The last day we rode out to UBC and the Museum of Anthropology- A MUST SEE. All this put together with stellar dining and a convenient grocery store across the street from you made this an A+++ stay. HIGHLY recommend it to all of my friends and we plan to come back. The owner provided excellent communications and was most pleasant. thanks Andrea & John"
