  • A quiet, beautiful retreat after long days at work

"I spent 6 weeks in this beautiful jewel-box while working with the Vancouver Opera. My work days are long and often emotional, and coming "home" to this wee apartment was always a positive end to the day. The historic building is a stunner all on its own, but inside, it is immaculate and has a mature, cozy feel. The other tenants are polite and helpful, and I never felt like I was intruding. Charlotte is also a stunner! An intelligent, warm host who was genuinely interested in ensuring that my stay was comfortable - even loaning me some change for the laundry before I had a chance to get any. The location is perfect - lots of grocery stores and everything you'd ever want to eat on Davie Street. I walked to Stanley Park on my days off, and the transit options are literally a block away. Thank you, Charlotte, for everything. I'll be back soon!"

  • Would stay again

"Our family (including two college age children) had a lovely time in Whistler. The condo was just as described. Very well equipped kitchen. Really comfortable beds. Pool and hot tub were nice after long days hiking. Would rent again. Thanks!"

  • Fantastic!!

"The Royal Penthouse Suite was way more than we were banking for. We have a women's group that has come up to Whistler every year since 2002 and this place has been the best by far! There were 10 in our party and easily room for two others. I loved the super friendly and attentive management from the initial contact to the condo tour to taking care of a little housekeeping hiccup. Clear communication and a little humor go a long way. And, we were allowed to check in early--bonus! The kitchen was indeed, well stocked and roomy enough for all of us to maneuver around. The location is perfect--walking distance from most shops/restaurants and the lift (even for the skiers). The hot tub was easy to work, ready to go upon arrival and the views were amazing. The sauna was quite nice too. You've got to look behind the main door to the steam room....and there it is! Fyi; the room with the Queen bed doesn't have a window, but that wasn't an issue for us. The sauna light was on the fritz, but again, the management had fast response time. Also, the bedroom on the top floor got pretty hot, & we had a little trouble w/the thermostat, so we just opened the door. Didn't contact management on that one. This place has held up well through it's years of wear/tear. No complaints about the bed quality, sofas, kitchen gadgets, etc. We didn't really use the tv, but there is a small speaker system that has a blue tooth and usb connection. It wasn't compatible with my older Ipod, but we had a backup travel speaker, so no worries. Love the private elevator! Okay, we loved a lot about this place. Thanks Whistler Wired Crew!!! We may just be back next year...."

  • Great Place

"Easy to find, easy parking and close to downtown creekside (10-15 min walk). The hot tub on the balcony was amazing-it is relatively quiet as it faces a hill, but the sound of a waterfall behind it was very relaxing after a long day of skiing. Its a 3 story townhouse so if you have limitations (ie. cane, walker etc) it probably wouldn't be for you. Outside storage of ski gear with a bench to put on boots etc. We were able to comfortably fit our party of 8 people in the evening-especially when half wanted to watch a movie and half wanted to play board games at the dining room table. Its a bit cozy for 8-which I personally like as far as the living room goes. Laura was exceptional at getting back to me as soon as possible (I never had to wait more than 24 hours-and most times it was less than a few hours). The ski out was easy to find, but the ski in is pretty hard to find. We also couldn't get to the ski in on one of days as there was a competition on the slope we needed to go on to get back so it is helpful to plan ahead if you can't find it/if it is blocked for any reason. Creekside is a bit quieter than the village which was really nice for our group of late 20's who really just like to relax at the end of the day. There aren't enough towels for a group of 8 to use for hot tub and then a separate towel for shower. I recommend bring a beach towel with, as well as shampoo/conditioner as there wasn't much in the containers in the bathroom especially if you shower daily.-though they do state that on the welcome info. Would stay again!"
