  • As good as the 35 years married we were celebrating

"This Penthouse was everything we would have hoped for and more ..... We have traveled a lot of the world and wanted to experience being tourists in our own town. We planned to stay 4 nights and loved it so much, we stayed 5. It started with a warm, friendly greeting with our host and a quick accent to the top, 33rd floor. The view from the top balcony was spectacular .... that view lead you west on Davies to an almost unobstructed view of English Bay. Great access to everything .... Yaletown, False Creek, Granville Island Market, Stanley Park, BC Place, Rogers Arena, shopping ..... We kayaked false creek, rented a jet ski & went to Doc Morgans on Bowen for lunch, walked over to T & T bought live crab & feasted, biked around false creek, friends & family came in for dinner a couple of nights (West Oak & Brix n Mortar were awesome .... The Teahouse, not so much) Excellent accommodation in the Top City in the World. Thank you John & Kelly. We will book this again !"

  • Perfect home in a beautiful neighborhood!

"For starters, Lissa was very welcoming and it was really nice meeting her. I stayed at the property for one week with my family of 5, and the house exceeded everyone’s expectations. It was extremely clean, cozy, and tastefully renovated. I was initially concerned that parking on the street would be an issue, but the neighbors are very respectful and park in front of their own houses, so there was always a spot in front of the property waiting for us. Overall, it was a great experience for everyone and the weather (rainy and chilly) made us want to spend even more time inside such a comfy house! We would definitely stay there again!"

  • Quiet and comfortable

"Lovely little suite tucked behind a garden, well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Grocery stores and restaurants close by, walkable neighbourhood, but felt a little uneasy on Commercial Drive after 8 pm., I guess that's why they call it a DRIVE. Hostesses were not welcoming but if we needed anything one of them was right there and very helpful. This really wasn't a problem as sometimes vacationers just want to be left alone. The property was clean and well maintained and we enjoyed our stay there."

  • Felt like home

"I had recently moved to Vancouver, and I stayed in Devorah and Franco's suite for 5 weeks while I searched for somewhere permanent to live. The suite is very comfortable and really felt like home - it was private, I had plenty of space to spread out, I could prepare my own meals, and I particularly enjoyed taking advantage of the sunny spring weather in their beautiful garden. The location is perfect, on a lovely quiet, tree-lined street, yet close to public transit, the many interesting shops and restaurants on Commercial drive and the park at Trout Lake (don't miss the farmer's market on Saturdays!). In fact, I liked the area so much that I abandoned my plans to live further out and found a place nearby. Devorah and Franco were very friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated their local advice on my various questions related to the move. Thanks again for everything!"
