  • Cozy, spacious, and close - a perfect family vacation!

"We loved our stay at the Classic Whistler House. Homey, old fashioned chalet-style, but very comfortable. The house caters perfectly to families - lots of privacy for sleeping, lots of cozy spots to pick up a book, and lots of rooms which are all large and very kid-friendly. We were a large family of adults (7) with three wee ones, and everyone had a great time. This is totally not a party-house; it's a make a leisurely afternoon round of tea, followed by a big fondue and a game of scrabble kind-of-house. We loved the well-appointed kitchen, which was (like the rest of the house) super neat and tidy, and only a 10-15 min walk to the Whistler Gondola. We loved coming home after a fun day out and being close enough to the Village to take in the sights, but far enough away to have a great night's sleep (undisturbed by revellers). It was great to pop the gear into the heated garage to dry out overnight... and this family of skiers was very happy to kick back in front of the fire, enjoy a glass of wine, and pop the kiddos in front of a DVD for a quiet night. It was exactly what we were looking for - thanks Sylvia!"

  • Majestic!

"Our group of 6 loved every minute of our stay in the Chalet! Matt (the owner) went out of his way to make sure we had a beautiful time and enjoyed his home. Matt, did all the work to the house and the quality and details were awesome. From the heated bathroom floors to the whale bone exposed wood beams, to the wood burning stove, to the secluded feeling of the propriety, to the well stocked kitchen, to the hot tube at the end of a long day of powder laps, we were as one of my party put it #Blessed! Matt, met us at the house on the day of our arrival and gave us a personal tour and made sure we knew the in's and out's of the home. The home was equipped with WiFi and apple TV which was great for relaxing after dinner. It was a 4-5 minute drive to the grocery store and slopes, which was so convenient for our group. I like being away from the hustle and bustle of the village and this house offered that peaceful easy feeling we were looking for. Check out was a breeze. If you are thinking about this house do yourself the favor and rent it! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!"

  • Awesome Property and Location for a family stay

"This property is located very close to the Whistler Village. You can be in the Village or parked for a day of skiing with an east 10 minute drive. The house is great with sleeping rooms on the bottom and top floors and the common areas on the middle floor. The kitchen has everything you need to make every meal and keep everybody full! The dining room and living room are spacious and very nice for relaxing after a day on the mountain. The hot tub and steam room are quite nice too! We had 4 adults and 2 children during our week stay and we had plenty of room in the house. Very nice accommodations and the location is a plus. We would recommend and rent again. Thanks Peter and Shandro Family!"
