  • charming, comfortable, convenient, and great value

"Greystone Unit 410 is lovely. Rick provided quick feedback about questions during the booking process and the information to access the unit was an easy process. Photos are very representative of the unit. We loved the charming Adirondack decor (the moose and bear motif). Beds and linens were very nice quality and we had comfortable sleeps. The microwave and fridge were excellent amenities, and the unit was very clean (including the bathroom, which was spotless). The front desk manager was very friendly and although we never had any issues requiring his help, it was nice to feel welcomed. The location is fantastic - ski in/out for those who downhill, and an easy walk down the hill to the Fairmont (5 mins), or into the village (about 10-15 mins). The Lost Lake x-country ski/snowshoe area was an easy 15 min walk. We appreciated having ski locker access for our snowy gear. The hot tub and pool area was clean and both were the perfect temperature. The building is well kept and was mostly quiet (only on one night did a bunch of loud partiers wake us up as they clattered around in the hallway at 3am); considering how busy Whistler was pre-Christmas, the Greystone was very peaceful. Very minor suggestions for improvement: a few more clothes hangers would be helpful (for our 5-night stay, we needed a few more); a few more hooks to hang bathrobes or wet towels/items would be good (maybe an over-the-door hook, as the one small towel bar is not quite enough); a boot tray for wet footwear, to avoid damaging the carpet. Everything was great! We found it hard to leave and we would highly recommend the place."

  • Great quiet location

"It was our first time being at Whistler. It was a bit dauting figuring out where we should be inside the entire resort and how "skiable" the condo would be from the base of the mountains. The condo was great in terms of location and convenience. There's a small handful of restaurants within a very short walk. The village isn't far to walk either. If walking isn't for you, taxi can be called easily from the condo. Wildwood lodge has a locker room for your skis/snowboards. We didn't want to walk back and forth with our gear every morning and afternoon. So we rented two lockers at the Blackcolm Lodge. That worked out great. You'll have a beautiful view from the condo to enjoy everyday. Having two bth/two rms worked out nicely with 4 adults(2 couple). Mattresses were all comfortable. (Despite a previous review) Lana couldn't be a nicer host. I definitely recommand staying here if you have a large group and want to stay somewhere quiet."

  • A nice place to stay that is away from the madding crowds.

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Painted Cliff # 36 was convenient yet away from the crowds. There was lots of furniture and it slept 6 of us easily. 2 bathrooms were great and the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, appliances & cookware. Please get a better under the sink garbage can."
