  • Good for the Soul

"In all honesty, this review is a more 4.5 but in the absence of half star options rounding up was more accurate than rounding down. I stayed for 3 nights. Alan ensured that all the information I needed to access the space and enjoy my stay was provided in advance. The space was clean and accurately depicted from the photos. Plenty of linens, towels and kitchen appliances. My favorite part was, of course, the location. I loved the ability to come and go easily and access all the destinations of the village(s) as well as beautiful walking trails within steps of the condo entrance. In addition, as I stayed there alone, I was pleased that I felt safe coming and going. I felt the investment for the space was in line with the expectations of the off peak season *but know that parking and cleaning fees are additional. A typical VRBO practice but something I hadn't taken into account during the excitement of booking this location* The half star off simply is for a few items that might need attention to and I will email the manager/ owner directly about these things. I would mention them here if I felt like they should impact your decision but that is not the case. Lastly, as it relates to the Good for the Soul title of this review, the view from the bay window never gets old. While it doesn't face the ski mountains directly, the view of the plaza, village goers and the mountains in the distance - well, along with a glass of wine, music on the TV and the fireplace going, it was my place to soak in the awesomeness of Whistler and fill up my emotional tank. • Amazing!

"Fernando's home is perfect for large groups. The amenities and location are great, just a short walk across the street to the village. The home is exactly as described and shown in the photos and was in excellent condition. The place had everything we needed and Fernando was accommodating and responded quickly to our inquiries leading up to the trip. The housekeeper was also an excellent hostess and made us feel immediately welcomed - she even helped us get our truck unstuck from the driveway as we were leaving! We look forward to staying here again in the future. Thanks for everything!"

  • Lyn and Phil and large family

"We had a wonderful 4 night stay in this home. 6 adults and 5 children aged 2-7 years. The house is a beautiful classic large ski home. Very well stocked for guests. Kitchen well equipped and loads of towels. Mud room entrance very convenient as is laundry room in the basement. It is listed as a 5 bedroom but could really be considered 6 as the TV room in the lower level is a room with a door and has two pullout couches that we didn't use. The games room is a separate common area from this private and largish TV room. Our kids used the TV room to play in. The home is nicely furnished with rustic ski decor and durable, very suitable for young kids and dogs. Does not have fenced area for letting dogs out but a great walking trail just a few doors down. Peter was very available with Whistler tips and also responded promptly to have a hot tub problem fixed within 24 hours. Highly recommended."
