  • Want for nothing!

"We enjoyed 18 nights at Maria's wonderful apartment and didn't want for anything! Everything is just as the pictures portray, but what surprised us most was how we quickly came to call this our home away from home. We were lucky to have plenty of snow to ski in and ski out so the ski valet service was fantastic and after a hard day on the slopes it became a must to enjoy an after-dinner hot tub (best to wait for everyone else to have theirs earlier). The kitchen has everything you would want in your own and the bed is that good (and big) it almost nurses you to sleep. The apartment is a short (and romantic) walk into Whistler Village proper and, if you're lazy like us, an even shorter cab ride back after visiting a few apres waterholes... If you're looking for a fully self sufficient getaway at one of the world's premier alpine resorts then Aspens 440 is the place for you! Thanks Maria, we will be back"

  • Perfect weekend away with friends

"Eight of us (4 adults, 4 young children) spent the weekend at the Tennants' house in Whistler in February and it was the perfect place to get away to. The house is beautifully rustic (and by rustic, I mean comfortable and cozy with an antique feel to the decor) and the lay-out is perfect for kids. There is a games area upstairs with a ping-pong table and table hockey. The den/TV room downstairs was perfect for the kids to have some time watching movies or colouring while the adults talked and played games. The large hot tub made it a perfectly relaxing weekend. It's close to both Whistler Village and Squamish so easy to pop out if you need anything. For the kids, the highlight was watching the occasional train go by on the tracks directly below the house. Surprisingly the noise wasn't disruptive in the least. We plan on renting the Tennants' house again next year, and we're already looking forward to it."

  • Wonderful

"Our family (we have two kids), plus two grandparents, spent some time in Steve's cabin this January (2015), and had a truly wonderful time during our stay. Our kids are very young, and they had so much fun exploring the cabin. We found the place easy (directions were clear), and it was well prepared for our visit: everything was very clean and tidy. The cabin is very inviting, cozy, and quite spacious - there was plenty of room for sleep (3 bedrooms) and hang out (downstairs and upstairs). The kitchen was very well stocked, we cooked most of our meals. Linen and towels were plentiful and clean. We were lucky to be there during a heavy snowfall, we all loved watching it, and going out with kids to play. The wood stove served us well to warm up after we came back inside. One thing we didn't have time to enjoy was the sauna. The cabin is a short drive to Whistler, we went there a couple of times during our stay, for lunch and to walk around. We didn't go skiing/snowboarding, but, the cabin is a good base for winter activities in Whistler. The cabin is located close to a railroad, but, the trains go by very infrequently (twice a day or so), and they were not annoying (on the contrary, kids liked watching them go by). Our correspondence with Steve was very clear and easy (e-mail, phone). Thanks Steve, we hope to come back and visit your cabin again! Davor and family"

  • Fantastic!!

"The Royal Penthouse Suite was way more than we were banking for. We have a women's group that has come up to Whistler every year since 2002 and this place has been the best by far! There were 10 in our party and easily room for two others. I loved the super friendly and attentive management from the initial contact to the condo tour to taking care of a little housekeeping hiccup. Clear communication and a little humor go a long way. And, we were allowed to check in early--bonus! The kitchen was indeed, well stocked and roomy enough for all of us to maneuver around. The location is perfect--walking distance from most shops/restaurants and the lift (even for the skiers). The hot tub was easy to work, ready to go upon arrival and the views were amazing. The sauna was quite nice too. You've got to look behind the main door to the steam room....and there it is! Fyi; the room with the Queen bed doesn't have a window, but that wasn't an issue for us. The sauna light was on the fritz, but again, the management had fast response time. Also, the bedroom on the top floor got pretty hot, & we had a little trouble w/the thermostat, so we just opened the door. Didn't contact management on that one. This place has held up well through it's years of wear/tear. No complaints about the bed quality, sofas, kitchen gadgets, etc. We didn't really use the tv, but there is a small speaker system that has a blue tooth and usb connection. It wasn't compatible with my older Ipod, but we had a backup travel speaker, so no worries. Love the private elevator! Okay, we loved a lot about this place. Thanks Whistler Wired Crew!!! We may just be back next year...."
