  • Great accomodation for families with small kids

"We, a family of four ( kids 3 and 4 yrs old) had a great time at the poolside retreat. The cottage is very family friendly equipped w/ booster seat, pack n play, kids room w toys and books, outdoor badminton net and obviously the pool. If you are going, make sure to buy some homemade jam from Casper's Corner next door. Many thanks to Gill and Ray for their great hospitality. We hope to be back soon :)"

  • Fantastic views

"What a view! The rancher itself was a fantastic size.Pictures don't do it justice. It really is a BIG place. A little dated but well equipped with everything you need.Lawn chairs and little tables included. The not so positive would be the outside of the rancher could do with a clean.windows dirty with so many cobwebs stuck to them. It has great access to the lake but it is very slippery getting into the water. After saying that it really is a wonderful home and would not hesitate in recommending it to our friends and family."

  • Incredible

"Fabulous views! Very nice accommodations. Loved sitting on the balcony listening to the Bald Eagles and enjoying the view. The unit was well equipped for cooking your own meals. It was hard to leave the home to see the area and even harder to head home."

  • Overall enjoyable

"Our stay here was great. The view from the deck was peaceful and enjoyable. The air conditioning was great in the hot summer heat. I would say the walk to the beach is a bit more than three minutes but it is still close. The Bench cafe down the block was great for food and the house is very close to the Naramata wineries. Being up the hill a bit felt a little bit isolated from the activities in town but it is walkable and peaceful. Deer even wonder into the back yard in the evenings. We enjoyed our time here."
