    "The Penthouse was perfect for our visit to Vancouver. The apartment was very well maintained and included everything we needed to make our stay both memorable and comfortable. We were able to walk just about everywhere and would have rented bikes for the entire stay if we had known that the area was so bike friendly. We enjoyed the Kitsalano pool, the access to Whole Foods Market, area restaurants, and especially the lovely weather. Thanks! We'll definitely be recommended the Alma Beach House to our friends and family."

    "Just got back from an awesome stay at Matt’s house and everyone is still raving about how great it was. This place is a definite step above your typical ski hill accommodations. From the minute you walk in you see a unique quality throughout; we really enjoyed the wood burning stove and the awesome hot tub. The house, in its Gothic A-Frame style, had more than enough room for 8 guys and all our ski gear, not to mention a good size driveway that easily fit 3 cars. Matt was great to deal with, left the house 100% ready to go and was easily accessible. Would not hesitate to book again."

  • Inviting apartment at a great location

    "The apartment is well equipped and welcoming. Fantastic coffee shops and restaurants are a few minutes of walking away. Grocery stores and wine shops are close by - if you want to cook in the well equipped kitchen and enjoy a meal on the patio (seats 2 comfortably). Communication was excellent and easy, as was finding the apartment and getting the instructions and key. You really do not need (or want) a car if you are spending time in Vancouver, or heading to Vancouver Island. If you happen to have a car, secure parking is available in the building (really nice). The building has a nice gym, a lap pool, a jacuzzi and two dry steam rooms available for your use. A great place, at a great location - I'll be back!"

  • Great townhouse for family stay

    "My extended family of 8 stayed at the Montebello townhouse in August. The home is truly beautiful and very comfortable for an entire family. The kitchen is well stocked, the deck/hot tub were a nice bonus and overall we had an excellent 4 day stay here. All of the bedrooms were very comfortable, the 'Den' is in the converted garage, which we were not aware of...as we had thought from the photo that we could park a car in the garage. Not a big deal at all for summer, but for winter/snow it would be nice to have covered parking. Montebello is a 15-18 minute walk to the Village - along a nice paved path. We walked to the village daily, but I would never want to walk that far in ski boots as it is a bit further than the advertised 10 minute walk (especially to get to the base of the ski lift area). The townhouse has a gorgeous view of both Whistler/Backcomb mountains - but it is not 'overlooking the slopes' as to me that means right on the slopes or off to the side of the ski run. Nonetheless we all had a great stay here. We all loved our stay as it is a beautiful 2 story townhouse indeed...next time we may opt to stay a little closer to the village. Thank you!"
