  • Gorgeous View

"We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. We usually stay in this area but have not had the amazing view before. Short drive to the hot springs and there are several child-friendly hikes nearby. We appreciated having the pool on site as well as the garbage shed on site. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. Very clean with cleaning supplies and laundry facility available. Lots of dishes, towels, etc. We appreciated the black out blinds in the bedrooms as we had small children with us. Could do with a rail on the top bunk bed but the beds are good quality and very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the air hockey game in the rec room. We would certainly book this property again. • Wonderful Stay

"I'll try to keep my review brief, but there are not enough good words I can say about Shan. First, he is very prompt and polite. I quickly got a response to my text and emails. Shan provides two documents with all the information you will need-- the first is for checking in and house rules, the second a list of attractions and items that are available in his condo. I found this invaluable. Dean also offered a parking space, which in Vancouver is a must. Her condo is clean, comfortable and well stocked. He had towels placed in each bedroom, detergent for the dishwasher and clothes washer, plenty of toilet paper and paper napkins, dishes, utensils and glasses. My friends and I thought we could see ourselves living in this condo. It's in the heart of downtown, and a great location with plenty to do for three single friends. Things that made it a plus for me: stocked with wine glasses, wine key, coffee maker, coffee and filters. I stayed in the main bedroom, which has a three piece on-suite. Bathroom was stocked with bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner and a full-size hair dryer. Never ran out of hot water for my showers. (I have long black hair, so a full-size hair dryer and hot water are important to me.) There is a clothes steamer in the closet, yeay! The bed is super comfortable and I had four pillows all to myself. Loved staying here."

  • Great location, dated unit. Make sure you check expectations at the door.

"The unit was in a great location, right above the MoeJoe's club on the 4th floor which is in the center of the action and a short 10 min walk to both Blackcomb Excaliber lift and Whistler Village Gondola. With that said, be prepared for some light noise on busy nights. Not enough to keep me awake but I'm a heavy sleeper. You can hear drunk kids screaming down below, but since this unit is all the way up on the 4th floor it's not as loud. I feel sorry for the chaps on the lower floors. Also keep in mind that the entrance to this condo is literally next to the entrance to MoeJoe's which means when you're trying to get home at night, you're also pushing through a crowd of drunk kids trying to get into the club. We literally had to get past the "VIP line" and the bouncer of the club in order to get to the entrance door, and half the time he would try to stop us before we told him we were just trying to get home. Kind of annoying if you ask me. Perhaps it was due to the MLK weekend crowd, but I had to mention it nonetheless. The unit itself has character but is in dire need of updating. The wall outlets are so old and loose our phone chargers kept falling out when we tried plugging them in. What we paid for 7 days stay which was a little on the high end, but it's more for the location and convenience. Probably cheapest in this area and it's worth it for the location. The bed was comfy enough to get a good nights rest. Didn't use the kitchen at all so I can't speak to the stove, but it's electric and quite old. Microwave and dishwasher are newer and work great. Fridge makes a racket every time the compressor shuts off which adds more character to the place. BE WARNED: THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS. We knew this coming in, but I'm sure people don't read so I had to mention it again. You must walk up 4 flights of stairs. The available parking is underground and heated but a bit out of the way to get to, so don't plan on going back and forth frequently. You have to go out the back door, cross the street to the convention center, go downstairs then back upstairs before you reach the access keypad you need to open the gate. My suggestion, familiarize yourself with how to get to your car then figure out how to get your luggage up in the fewest trips possible. The concierge service was great! Shirley booked all of our tickets and had them ready in the condo when we arrived We would definitely stay here again. Just make sure you know what to expect from the get go"
