    "Highly recommended for its location overlooking the water and proximity to airport and St. John's. Spotless and well equipped. Owner was very responsive even over the Christmas holiday. One limitation is the fringe cell phone coverage. Met all of our expectations making for a wonderful family holiday."

  • Beautiful old downtown St. John's NL

    "Arrived in St. John's on September 6, 2016 after spending the first week on the west and north coasts of NL. We were very pleased with all of our accommodations to this point and 280 Duckworth St. Unit 302 was no exception. The apartment is well located in the old part of St. John's with many restaurants and various attractions within walking distance. The unit was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the building is very quiet. My wife and I were extremely happy with our choice. We picked this apartment based on location, pictures, reviews and price which were accurately indicated in the listing. The only minor challenge was the metered parking on the street. Parking is free at night and on weekends. between 8 am and 6 pm, the meter has to be fed every 2 hours. A suggestion would be offer a parking pass for any of the side streets. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St. John's and would most definitely stay at 280 Duckworth St. again when visiting the next time."

  • Exceeding all expectations

    "It was a pleasure communicating with Anthony throughout the rental process. He is very thorough describing what to expect and also providing a detailed welcome sheet to answer any questions regarding use of the internet, tv, stereo system, and more. The home is a beauty with an iconic view of the harbour. It was a treat and pleasure spending time on the balcony overlooking the harbour. Ample seating, bedding and space was comfortable for our party of 6 adults. Clean, fully furnished, and warm decor made the rental feel like a home base. All mattresses were notably very comfortable, and the king size beds luxurious. The shower was also excellent with good pressure and temperature. Fully updated kitchen was utilised for several meals. The location is so ideal, being a 15-20 minute walk to Water Street and George Street, and also 15 minute walk to signal hill. It is a very safe and iconic area of St. John's. We feel we truly lucked out with this rental!"
