  • Great location and beautiful view

"Cozy home with a beautiful view of Bonne Bay and the Tablelands. Just minutes from Woody Point, the Discovery Centre, the Tablelands and Green Gardens hiking trail, it is the ideal location to enjoy many beautiful hikes and activities. We loved our stay in Gros Morne!"

  • Wonderful log cabin

"We had four wonderful sunny days staying in Woody Point. The cabin had the most amazing views and was in a perfect location for many of the hikes we enjoyed. The cabin was clean and very well equipped, lots of towels and a really great kitchen with lots of extras. Upstairs was a beautiful sunroom to enjoy the lovely vistas. The cabin was quite spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It was a short stroll to the restaurants.. We enjoyed great fish dinners at both the Loft restaurant and the Merchant. The staff at both restaurants were incredibly friendly and entertaining. The owners were very informative and helpful with directions and answered any of our questions promptly. We would return in a heart beat. Gros Morne is a must."

  • Awesome little cottage with an amazing view of Gros Morne. Very clean and cozy after days of hiking.

"Great location, very clean, easy access to southern trails. Awesome view of the bay and Gros Morne. Kitchen has everything that you would need. Little bit of a drive to Rocky Harbour but we wanted to explore the southern part of Gros Morne so it was perfect. Awesome deck and dock to hang out on with a glass of wine or beer. Super comfy main bed. Could not have asked for a better place to end our coast-to-coast Newfoundland trip. Cheers!"

  • Beautiful house and location!

"So much has been said already in the prior reviews that mirror our experience, so I won’t repeat them. I’ll just add these comments: The “outside is inside” feel of this house is what makes this property a standout. No matter where you are in the house, there will be a vista of either Gros Morne Mountain and Bonne Bay or the mountain behind. The light filtering in – day or night – is a special experience. The location is perfect for this southern section of Gros Morne National Park. You are situated perfectly for exploration of the Tablelands, Green Gardens and Trout River. Being just outside of charming Woody Point, restaurants are easily accessible and there are other pleasures including hanging out on the back porch of Galliot Studios or taking in some music in an evening. We could easily have stayed for an additional week! One of the reasons for the great views is that the house is situated up a hill. The unpaved gravel driveway is rather steep and curving. It may take a few drives uphill in low gear to get the hang of it without spinning the tires. In the information sheet for the house, you are requested (not obligated) to smooth out any sections where the tires have created any ruts. If you are an internet user while on vacation, I would suggest discussing your usage expectation with the owner in advance. The owner was responsive and reasonable in all of our communications. The property manager who lives very close by was available too for any questions and was friendly and helpful. When our luggage was delayed, the property manager suggested that it would be easier for the courier to deliver the luggage to their house which turned out to be around 10:30PM; the property manager brought the luggage right over to us – it was much appreciated."
