  • Perfect accommodations!

"We stayed in Pauline's condo the last week of April 2016. The condo is in a perfect location! It is within walking distance of the waterfront, Pier 21, the Citadel, the Public Gardens, and many other tourist attractions. It is close to shopping (groceries and liquor store) and restaurants. One can park on the street or in the secured underground parking garage (just don't plan to park your SUV!). The building is secured and overlooks a wonderful green space, the view is awesome! The condo is spacious and clean. The furnishings are comfortable and newer. The beds, linens, and towels were great. The building was quiet. We were a party of three, a 70 year old, a 50 year old and a 19 year old and we each had a room to ourselves, and lots of space in the open concept kitchen/dining/living area. A dishwasher was great for breakfast and snack dishes and the washing machine and dryer were handy for our 6 day stay. Bottom line: we'd recommend this place to our friends and families AND we'd stay at Pauline's condo again."

  • Excellent & Relaxing Experience

"My husband and I selected this home for its Inverness location and because it was dog-friendly. We were not disappointed. The house is wonderful, photos don't do it justice. The first thing I noticed was the wonderful windows and the bright and open floor plan. The house was clean and in good condition and fully equipped. There are so many wonderful places to sit, relax and enjoy the sunset and see the view of the water. The nearby Inverness Beach was wonderful for taking our dog to play in the surf. We drove the Cabot Trail, hiked Skyline Trail, took a tour and dined at the distillery and enjoyed nearby restaurants (The Red Shoe Pub and The Dancing Goat Café & Bakery to mention a couple.) Vicki was so easy to work with and it was great to have George to show us all we needed to know about the property and we knew he was nearby in case we needed him. We appreciated the new Weber gas grill and used it when we didn't go out to eat, and we loved the house's artsy charm and reclaimed furnishings. We're so glad we got to stay here for our visit to Cape Breton. Thanks to you Vicki and your family for sharing this special place with us."

  • Halifax Home away from Home

"We rented this unit for the month of August as we were in the area for our son's wedding and needed a base from which to operate. The property was excellent for us as we had many family members like our selves traveling from afar and this gave them a place to stop off while visiting the area. The house is ideally located being only 20 min from downtown Halifax or Dartmouth. It is situated so one can explore both the Fundy shore or the area from Halifax to Lunenburg and on to Yarmouth. That is if you can drag your self away from those Muskoka chairs overlooking the pond. Paul was a most gracious host and was always there if we had a problem which were few. Our one son came with an 18 month old and she enjoyed feeding the ducks in the pond so this is an excellent place for people with children. We would definately stay here again but it books up fast though because it is a popular place."
