  • Lovely old home rich with decor

"This lovely turn of the century home was the perfect setting for our "maritime" family reunion. There was ample room for all 13 of us including beds, bathrooms and sitting/living room space. The house has been beautifully refinished on the inside. No small task considering the size of the home. We would actually make wrong turns trying to find our way around the house. The house is walking distance to all amenities and the downtown core which offered many nice shops suitable for different ages (from crafts and clothing to comics and video games). I am only rating 4 out of 5 stars because, like all older homes, there was some (inevitable) wear and tear on the exterior of the building that made leisure time outside less enjoyable then the interior. Overall a wonderful experience...too bad it is so far away from the rest of Canada, otherwise we would come back sooner."

  • Cape Briton island at its finest!!

"The Mighty Blue is perfectly situated just a step off the Cabot Trail. Neil's Harbour is a quaint little place filled with freindly people and outstanding views. We loved the fact that it was not touristy and an actual working fishing village. We spent some time down at the fish plant talking to 2 gentlemen that were full of advice. We bought fresh live lobster and crab right from the factory. The beach in town had a treasure of sea glass and my children loved playing in the waves. The cabin itself has a gorgeous view of the ocean and is in walking distance to all that you would need in town. It's a great location if you plan on hiking a lot of the trails through out the national park. The cabin itself was perfect for our family of 5. It had everything we needed and a couple of extra things we wanted (a lobster pot and fishing rods) Kathy provided. Kathy herself was great, full of answers and recommendations. If you want to feel like more than just a tourist this is the place to come."

  • Amazing place to stay

"We stayed at Pipers Path and had a fantastic time. The cottage is well-appointed with everything we needed. The location is spectacular. We enjoyed walks along the ocean, beautiful sunsets from the huge deck, ocean sounds to fall asleep to, and starry night skies. The area is quiet but close to town and a good base for day trips to surrounding areas. But leaving the cottage is hard as there is so much to enjoy on this lovely property, you really don't need to go anywhere at all. Highly recommend and would definitely come back if the opportunity presents itself :-)"
