  • Great place to stay

"I have used VRBO to rent a number of different apartments in a wide variety of places, and this place is one of my all time favorites. The apartment is exactly as described and pictured. Lots of room, nicely furnished, and immaculately clean. The location could not be better. Plenty of parking, which is great because you can walk everywhere. Very quiet, even though you are above a pizza parlor. (The pizza, and the people that work there are great). The owner provided plenty of details, and responded very quickly to any questions. If you are there in the summer, be sure to attend the Baddeck Gathering Ceilidh for great Cape Breton Gaelic music. There is a friendly tourist information office across the parking lot, and numerous shops and restaurants starting next door to a five minute walk away. We used this as a base for driving and hiking along the Cabot Trail, visiting places along the Ceilidh Trail, and the Cape Breton Miners Museum in Glace Bay and the Fortress of Louisbourg. I will definitely stay there the next time in Cape Breton."

  • Idyllic Spot

"This little cottage is in an ideal location for exploring Cape Breton. You're 5-10 mins from Cheticamp and very close to the most scenic part of the Cabot Trail and the wonderful hikes at the National Park. The amenities within the cottage are outstanding with an excellent kitchen, a washer and dryer, and most importantly a gorgeous unobstructed view of the water. We thoroughly enjoyed the patio and very private and peaceful location. My only very slight criticism is that if you are a tall/large person the upstairs is a bit cramped. Fortunately, I am small and it was just fine for my needs. All in all this is a very appealing cottage and a terrific property. I would highly recommend it if you vacation in Cape Breton and we wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much Jane for sharing your lovely home."

  • Wonderful Cove Home

"My family stayed at this home from Nov 2 - Dec 17th. The house is right across of the street from the cove which is beautiful and right out of a movie with how picturesque it is. I walked to the breakaway at the end of the street daily to take in the beautiful Atlantic ocean. The house is fully stocked with everything you could ever need with regards to kitchen equipment, linens, chairs etc. The owners put a lot of thoughts in to making our stay perfect with a bottle of Nova Scotia wine and handmade soaps. The bedrooms are all a great size as is the property for sitting out either on the porch or in the backyard. I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting NS as it is close to Halifax, Peggy's Cove, local beaches and provincial parks. Wonderful stay!"
