  • Great Home for a Family Vacation!

"5 of us, ages 23-60, stayed in this home for 3 nights for a family wedding. Teresa communicated with us frequently and made us feel very welcome. The house was clean and large enough where we all had enough space without feeling cramped. We spent a lot of time on the private covered deck off the dining room. The kitchen was well stocked with many items and had lots of storage. Although the master bathroom was small it had lots of nooks and crannies for storing our toiletries so they weren't in the way. We would definitely return to this property if we visited the Toronto area again!"

  • Family & Friends Vacation - Great Cottage

"We booked Tom's place for a week for an end of summer getaway to split with friends. We have 2 kids, 1.5 and 4 years old. Our friends have 2 kids as well in the same age range. The location was perfect, a 10 minute walk from the beach on a quiet street, very safe for little ones. We brought a wagon and stroller, which worked well for transporting gear and kids to the beach. There is also a drop-off/parking area right at the nearest beach access, if you wanted to drive stuff down. Town (groceries, LCBO, drug store) was a 5 minute drive away, very quick. There's also ample parking in town, so it wasn't an issue to drive and just park down there to hit the main strip. Great space, well equipped kitchen, working BBQ, big TV with tons of channels and DVD player. Wifi quality is a bit poor, so don't plan on streaming much Netflix (I imagine it's just the area). Very clean and well maintained cottage. The deck is a bit rough, but even the littles were okay on it without shoes, although we usually put them on, just in case. No AC, but the place actually stayed pretty cool at night between windows and fans, it wasn't an issue. Washing machine and dryer work well, but take Tom's word on the light colours and iron in the water. The water in general is a bit smelly, but again, I imagine it's the area. And there is a water cooler. The backyard is not fenced, but it's a good space with a great fire pit. It isn't level (big hill/mound in the middle) and backs onto the wooded area. Dealing with Tom was a breeze from start to finish, quick to respond and friendly. This place was a great fit for us, great booking for 2 families and we'd book it again for sure."

  • Location Location Location

"The property is located on the corner of a condo block on Lower Simcoe, the property is probably one of the closest to the CN Tower. The views from the condo are spectacular, with stunning views of the CN Tower, the lake and the Toronto skyline. The condo is well equipped and the facilities are of a good standard."
