  • Absolutely Beautiful

"We went to the cottage with 4 couples for a long weekend. The weather was perfect for May and we enjoyed many hours on the dock just soaking up the sunshine and the spectacular view of the lake. It is so quiet and peaceful. The cottage was almost eveything we could dream of, with only one small glitch that we solved pretty quick. Large open space and lots of comfy couches and chairs and all windows facing the lake. The only thing we missed was a dining table so we could eat together. But like we said, we dealt and worked it out. Thank you so much Julie for renting your cottage, we hope we can enjoy it again sometime. Diane"

  • Georgian Bay - Six Mile Lake

"We spent one week at this Port Severn (Georgian Bay) cottage. Very warm welcome by the owner, cottage very well maintained and equipped. Enjoyed canoeing, quite time at the lake and nearby attractions (Big Chute, cruise from Parry Sound). If I had to recommend a cottage in the area, I would not hesitate a second with this cottage, we are also thinking of going back one day."

  • A wonderful place for our family !

"We spent a week here with our 2 sons,2 daughter-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren ( 4 yaars and younger) . Home was very well equipped and such a nice touch to be able to use basic provisions like sugar, flour, spices etc. Kitchen was very well equipped - couldn't ask for more. We loved our dinners in the screened gazebo. The children loved the beach, the shallow water, the bin of toys - especially the big Tonka trucks. We all enjoyed the paddleboat, kayaks and canoe. Having bedrooms on 3 floors meant that we could all spread out .Everything was spotlessly clean. The only thing that prevents me from giving this 5 stars is the fact that the train yard in MacTier is very close and you can hear trains blowing their whistle and cars shunting during the night ! Otherwise, it was perfect ."

  • Beautiful spot!

"Please note that we booked this thru VRBO which was listed through "Canada Stays". We had to pay two service charges. I recommend you book this directly thru Canada Stays to save 250 plus dollars. We were celebrating an 80th birthday - eleven of us ranging in age from 11 to 80. The cottage is large and easily accommodated everyone. The four kids slept on pullouts, Murphy bed, etc in the Great Room. The most beautiful view in Lake of Bays and the large deck was perfect for a large group to play games, eat, sip a cocktail, view the sunset. Highly recommended. Only drawback was the 200 steps to the water (and back up). Exhausting for any age and not doable for this senior (had to go into Dorset and taken by boat to our dock. Otherwise, a great rental!"
