  • Beautiful cottage, and location!!!!!!

"Really great cottage, that has everything you need provided! Wonderful location, with the possibility of a day trip to Eugenia Falls. We had a nice evening lying on the ski hill looking at the stars."

  • Countryside retreat!

"This hidden gem is nestled in a clearing of trees on a lovely country sideroad. The main building is a converted schoolhouse plus a separate sleeping bunkie and outdoor hottub! You need to bring bedding, paper products, frying pans and avid cooks need seasoning and cooking oils but all worth it. The coziness inside, even in this cooler weather was felt as soon as we walked in. Liane leaves private instructions for guests to come and go so we never felt time constraints. Lack of Internet and cable forces you to relax and enjoy the fire. A great trade-off! We recommend Ebenezer for couples and families alike. We plan to return on our next weekend getaway!"

  • Wow. What a fantastic spot! Our kids were blown away by how cool this place is!

"I truly need to say thank you to George for sharing what is so clearly a family holiday home - we had three families at the Highland Farm, and from the moment everyone arrived (staggered arrivals) the messages were 'oh my god this place is perfect!'. This is a farmhouse in the best sense of the word - it immediately felt like a place where memories are made - comfy cozy living rooms, a kitchen that invites company and conversation over a glass of wine or three, a dining room big enough to fit the whole crew of 13 easily, and bedrooms with comfy beds a plenty! We even explored the vinyl collection in the basement rec room (George - that is a killer collection down there!) and just had the easiest time. It felt sort of like a friend had lent us their place for the weekend - a sense of comfort I have yet to feel on VRBO which really impacted our weekend in a lovely way. Now the barn: what can I tell you - ping ping, basketball, no neighbours to be bothered by excited kids on sugar ;), fairy lights to set the mood. We loved it!! The trails were well used by us as we had two dogs with us, and 7 kids...so ya, we got out and ran around - really lovely in the woods. The hot tub was a hit with the kids...was used as bribery when they got lazy...'go run around in the snow and then you can hop in the hot tub' ... mission successfully achieved! All in all just a gem of a spot. We are trying to come up with the perfect occasion to throw a big party at the Farm as all the kids now call it :) we truly can't wait to go back. Thanks again for sharing your space with our motley crew. (On a practical note - the kitchen is very well equipped - we didn't utter the words 'oh I wish they had ....' at any point when we were preparing meals - it's all there. We all had virtually zero signal on our phones...as a heads up...but we had declared it a wi-fi free weekend - so we made no effort to remedy that situation, but just thought it may be useful to know.)"
