  • Loved it!

"I stayed in this apartment for a month while on contract with the federal government and loved it! The apartment was very comfortable and well set up with everything I needed. It is in a quiet residential area and about a 10 minute walk to the parliament buildings and very close to the By Ward Market. The owner was responsive and very helpful. I will definitely stay again in the future."

  • A MUST SEE

"Top 5 Reasons to Stay Here: 1. Stunning Outside! Huge waterfront property that's quiet and has a peninsula that looks like a golf course. The deck wraps around with comfortable seating for everyone and a quaint covered porch. 2. Inside is decorated beautifully and I love the separate loft above the garage! 3. I appreciate the little extras (triangular Jacuzzi tub with jets, gas stove to cook on and cozy gas fireplace in the loft, lovely bbq, high bar table, blender, movies, etc.) 4. Mike is a pleasure to deal with and very professional/helpful. 5. Location is amazing as your just down the road from the beach/sand dunes, and 10 minutes away from Picton, Wellington, or Bloomfield."

  • Girls weekend away

"House was nicely equipped with standard kitchen supplies (utensils, cutlery, plates/bowls, glassware), soaps, toilet paper, and towels. Overall the house was clean and functional, the property was charming, and the bedrooms were very cute! Only downside was that the air circulation in the upstairs floor wasn't great, and there weren't any ceiling fans to use. Windows seem to be permanently shut (or at least very difficult to open), so we couldn't get any breeze in the rooms. Also, the wall lights didn't turn on, and there weren't any switches to turn on lights (most likely because it is an older house and this wasn't an option back then). Not necessarily a deal breaker, but in the hot heat of the summer, it would be nice to have. One neighbour was very unfriendly - this isn't an issue with the house per say, but still an unpleasant experience nonetheless. Our group (which majority was 50+ in age) was outside chatting at 8:45pm and she marched over to us saying that we were "SCREAMING" and was very rude. Meanwhile, there was a house down the road with music blasting all night."

  • Fall visit 2016

"It was a rainy weekend, so we couldn't enjoy the lake. Luckily the grounds are so big and fantastic, that we had enough to do inside. I stayed in the guest cabin which was well heated , and had a view of the lake. It was nice to have a covered balcony as well! The music is spread through the main cottage, and the kitchen was fully stocked with any appliance you could think of! The kitchen was a great communal area to gather and cook! For a fall visit it was better than I expected and even there was a great tv , we didn't even need to watch it! Great weekend, I hope I can visit again! Also the contacts for the rental were very professional and prompt! See you again!"
