  • Clean and Lovely get-away cottage for any occasion!

"We were very pleasantly surprised with our get-away cottage, Maple Tree Cottage, for our 3 women reunion. All appeared as it did on the website, and it was quite clean. There was plenty of room to sit and chat, cook together and dine. Even the deck provided an opportunity to enjoy cocktails together on a warm fall day. Each of the 3 bedrooms had plenty of room, and the 2nd two piece bath was a bonus! Sandra had provided lots of local information of things to do for us to peruse, and we appreciated that very much. With the cottage situated within an easy walk to downtown, the vehicles were parked and didn't move for a few days! We enjoyed the shopping, the restaurants Treadwell and The Garrison House as well as the close by markets and food shops. Overall, we'd recommend this cottage for any get-away occasion."

  • Wonderful home away from home

"Lovely house – bright and airy, clean and tidy, great layout – exceeded expectations. Bedrooms, kitchen – all terrific. Awesome main bathroom – wanted to take it home with me. Tastefully decorated; friendly, comfortable, understated, uncluttered. Great location – lots of mature trees, private and peaceful, beautiful homes all around. Could have used an empty kitchen cupboard for pantry items. All the cupboards are full (of good stuff, yes, that’s true), so the only space we had for groceries was the countertop in front of the big window. Sun poured in through this window, which was wonderful, but it meant things got hot. Chips and crackers were ok, but not bottles of wine! Nor olive oil, chocolate, seasonings, baking supplies, coffee, etc. So, these ended up staying in grocery bags under the counter (on the floor), or piled into the corner a bit. Perhaps one of those little wired basket trolley/cart on wheels that can fit under the counter would do the job. And perhaps a wine rack of some sort – this is wine country :) Full-height hanging space in the main bedroom would have been handy. We managed with the big coat closet at the entrance, so not a biggie. Overall, just wonderful, highly recommended. We were in town for a small family wedding, and had a few people drop in here and there, and everyone had the same positive impression as soon as they came through the door. Would love to come back again one day."

  • Great cottagge in a great location!

"This cottage was perfect for our 3 day girl's getaway. We wished that we could have stayed longer. The location, close to the heart of NOTL, could not have been better as everything we needed was in walking distance ie grocery store, Starbucks and shopping. We visited wineries, unique artisan shops, Picard's, and much more as we toured around the area. It was an easy and beautiful walk along the lakeshore as well. The cottage was clean, roomy and well appointed for our group of five gals! We were all very pleased with our stay."
