  • Great for family or friends getaway!

"This home is absolutely wonderful for a getaway. The bedrooms are large with ensuite baths. Minutes away from the main strip of Queen St. Definitely walking distance to Theatres and shops and restaurants. Extremely clean and kitchen is fully equipped where we prepared most of our meals. Would definitely recommend."

  • This a charming, convenient and reasonable place to stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake

"This is a fully furnished cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen and bath and in addition to that there is a large sunroom, and a lovely garden if you have time to enjoy it. The owner is wonderful and very accommodating. We have enjoyed staying with her twice and hope to be there again. It is convenient to all three theatres!"

  • Girls weekend away

"House was nicely equipped with standard kitchen supplies (utensils, cutlery, plates/bowls, glassware), soaps, toilet paper, and towels. Overall the house was clean and functional, the property was charming, and the bedrooms were very cute! Only downside was that the air circulation in the upstairs floor wasn't great, and there weren't any ceiling fans to use. Windows seem to be permanently shut (or at least very difficult to open), so we couldn't get any breeze in the rooms. Also, the wall lights didn't turn on, and there weren't any switches to turn on lights (most likely because it is an older house and this wasn't an option back then). Not necessarily a deal breaker, but in the hot heat of the summer, it would be nice to have. One neighbour was very unfriendly - this isn't an issue with the house per say, but still an unpleasant experience nonetheless. Our group (which majority was 50+ in age) was outside chatting at 8:45pm and she marched over to us saying that we were "SCREAMING" and was very rude. Meanwhile, there was a house down the road with music blasting all night."

  • A Delightful Surprise

"I couldn't possibly have asked for more!!! Victoria House was everything promised and more. We had spacious rooms for the 5 of us to enjoy TV, eat and cook as well as two large beautiful full baths - You walk out the front door and cross the street and you are on Queen Street amidst the shopping and tourists. And at night, the area settles into a quiet atmosphere with no issues. A small sweet grocery store is 100 feet away and every house is just as pretty as the next. It is a pleasure to walk everywhere as you are greeted with incredible flowers and landscaping at every turn. And what gift to have a long driveway. Parking would be awful but not to worry here. The back yard is lovely as you can have a picnic on the spacious patio and there is a large glass table with 6 chairs. I felt as though I was home - only a prettier home! This house offers space for everything. Very homey. When we visit again, this will be the house! Happy Travels."
