  • Lovely Historic House

"We recently spent three wonderful days at this gorgeous house. A restored 1857 farmhouse, the Piano House is authentically 19th century in ambiance. However, all the modern amenities are available, including satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen, excellent shower, and extremely comfortable beds. The house also has superb gardens and outdoor living spaces. Everything worked perfectly and was spotlessly clean. It is in a quiet Old Town location and is a short walk to theatres and shopping on Queen Street. Also, Susan made booking and checking in a breeze. I would recommend heartily to anyone seeking a unique, comfortable, and quiet retreat. Have already booked for next year!"

  • charming vacation spot

"The Regent house was the perfect getaway for our family. The house is simply lovely and the accommodations clean and comfortable. No detail was ignored. Also, you just cannot beat the location of the house to town and parking is ample for the number of guests."

  • Girls weekend away

"House was nicely equipped with standard kitchen supplies (utensils, cutlery, plates/bowls, glassware), soaps, toilet paper, and towels. Overall the house was clean and functional, the property was charming, and the bedrooms were very cute! Only downside was that the air circulation in the upstairs floor wasn't great, and there weren't any ceiling fans to use. Windows seem to be permanently shut (or at least very difficult to open), so we couldn't get any breeze in the rooms. Also, the wall lights didn't turn on, and there weren't any switches to turn on lights (most likely because it is an older house and this wasn't an option back then). Not necessarily a deal breaker, but in the hot heat of the summer, it would be nice to have. One neighbour was very unfriendly - this isn't an issue with the house per say, but still an unpleasant experience nonetheless. Our group (which majority was 50+ in age) was outside chatting at 8:45pm and she marched over to us saying that we were "SCREAMING" and was very rude. Meanwhile, there was a house down the road with music blasting all night."

  • Quaint, Close, and Adorable

"This apartment was fantastic for mine and my boyfriend's weekend getaway! It is within walking distance of NOTL to take in all the sights of this picturesque town, as well as right around the corner from a handful of wineries. We decided to bring our bikes so we could cycle into Virgil, ON and access even more wineries (obviously!). Linda was a dream to deal with and very accommodating. I'd recommend this stay for anyone looking to avoid the expensive Bed & Breakfast song and dance and come prepared with your own food (they have coffee!!) so as to save a bit. Likewise, there's great brunch within walking distance, as are there pubs and coffee shops."
