  • Nice Family Stay

"Our extended family had a good stay here with some strong positives: Close to the GO station making access to the city convenient. Nice neighborhood (with a friendly neighbor) and the wooded location was pleasant and peaceful. The pool was a lifesaver as the week we were there the weather was in the 80s/30 (F/C). Everyone made good use of the heated pool, especially the kids! The house was as described in the listing and well-cleaned/maintained. The owner was easy to contact and had maintenance people come by to clean the pool, etc. A few improvements would make this perfect. The air conditioning couldn't cope with the high temps, especially in the second floor bedrooms. Wi-fi was unreliable. Adults were not able to dine together as there were not enough chairs to go around the table; same for living room - not enough places for people to sit. Animals (raccoons?) were able to get into the garage at night and mess with the trash. All in all, we had a good time here. It was fun to stay in the suburbs, yet close to the city."

  • Very cute, cozy and cost efficient!

"3 of us really enjoyed staying at this home. It was great to have parking on the driveway and an entire 2 bedroom lower level private suite. The king size bed was very comfortable; the queen, not so much but it was manageable for 2 nights. For my first experience using a Home Away type service, it was wonderful!!!"

  • Sparkling Clean

"This one bedroom apartment tucked into what was once probably an attic, is very well done, and quite comfortable. The bedroom is very roomy with plenty of storage available. The tile work in the bathroom is a work of art, with a great shower. The kitchen is well stocked with the basics. Molly left some bottled water and sofa for us, and 2 prepackaged discs of coffee and tea for the Keurig like espresso machine, but it would be nice to have the ability to brew coffee if desired (she did supply instant), but this is just a personal preference. There is a cute deck off the kitchen, with a table to enjoy in the warmer weather. The sitting room has a love seat, flat screen, and a table for meals and/or work. TV and internet worked well. The home is on a quiet side street, Molly has a parking pad in front that was very convenient as we were coming and going but did not have to search for parking. The location is less than 5 min from the waterfront and bike trails. It is off the west end of King St. which is residential, mostly low level apartments at that end. There is a discount grocery at the corner, but the restaurants and action of the West King Village even for a cup of coffee or beeakfast, are a ways down. However the street car stop is quite close. Overall, this is a very clean, comfortable rental, good for one or two people. It was nice for a weekend, but would also be quite comfortable for a longer stay for business. Molly is almost immediately responsive to any concern. I would highly recommend this for your visit to Toronto"

  • Quaint studio room, loud neighbors

"As for the studio apartment/condo, it was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The only complaint we had about the apartment was that the bathroom was way too small. You could barely turn around in the shower. It is within walking distance of several restaurants, markets, and bars. It is not within walking distance of downtown, but Uber was less than $10 each ride. The major downfall of this stay were the noisy neighbors. The apartment or condo is adjacent to several others and right next to the stairs. People were constantly going in and out. Anytime someone talked while they were coming/going, it sounded as though they were standing in our rental talking. That's how loud it was. We like to sleep in until at least 10am while on vacation, and that wasn't really an option with the noise level."
