  • Quaint and Cozy

"My husband and I decided to come to Toronto for the first time. We knew we didn't want to stay right inside of the city, so what Leslie and Tim had to offer was perfect! Before we even left for Toronto they had offered different things for us to do in the city, different ways to get to Niagara Falls where we stayed for a day, and how to get around the city. When we arrived we were able to drop off our luggage earlier than allowed, and were given key places for us to have brunch while we waited on them to clean the apartment. Leslie and Tim were wonderful hosts, and allowed us to stay during Canadian Thanksgiving (we so ignorantly were unaware of), and made sure we were taken care of! Apartment wise, either if you are traveling solo, or just 2 travelers at the most will fit comfortably there. They are approximately a 10 minute car ride to downtown, but don't underestimate their side of town! We went to Roy's on Wednesday for their wings, which were amazing. Barrio had a fun atmosphere, and a cool drink menu. Celia Cottage had great food, and oysters. I would highly suggest taking an Uber everywhere, they always beat cab prices. St. Lawrence Market is a must for lunch, graffiti alley is a hidden gem, and Kensington Market was a cool culture shock. Walking and wandering the city is truly the best way to discover the cool shops and yummy restaurants. The locals were also very helpful! If you are going to visit Niagara Falls for a day, Queen City Tour is definitely the way to go (thanks to Leslie for finding that for us). All in all, we were very pleased with our stay, and definitely plan to stay with them next time we adventure to Toronto!"
