  • Charming Cottage

"My family and I stayed at Chisolm House, Christmas 2015. What a beautiful house in a fantastic location. Cosy, warm and inviting. Plenty of room for our family of 5. We chose Burlington as we were visiting our Canadian friends for Christmas. Brian (the host) could not have been more accommodating, an absolute pleasure to deal with. The outdoor ice skating rink at the end of the street was fantastic. We bought second hand ice skates and walked down to the rink every night, it was brilliant for our kids. The neighborhood was so friendly, one lot of kids gave our Aussie kids there old hockey sticks on Christmas Day. We wished we could have stayed longer. I could not recommend Chisolm House highly enough. We will definitely be back one day, our family would love to live there. Thank you Brian for sharing your beautiful home and being so helpful."

  • Clean, spacious house with great management!

"We booked this property on last minute notice, and were thoroughly pleased with it. It is a very spacious home with ample common space, including several living areas, a good-sized kitchen, and a very large dining room. There are 5 bedrooms, as well as an air mattress. Several sofas could sleep extra people, too. Full bathrooms on each floor are well appointed. There are plenty of towels, bedding, kitchen supplies, etc. The outdoor space is lovely, and although the home is in a neighborhood, it is extremely quiet; we felt very comfortable there. The grill and hot tub sit beside a nicely shaded patio. The gameroom was a huge hit with the kids ages 5-17, as well as the adults. The theater room is fantastic. Jim and Bert made sure we had everything we needed and answered any calls or texts promptly. The town is very small, but everything you need can be found in the neighboring town of Uxbridge, only a 10 minute drive away. Lake Simcoe is only 40 minutes away, as are plenty of farms. We can't wait to go back!"

  • This location made for an amazing family vacation!

"The property had everything we needed, was neat and clean, and provided an incredibly relaxing week for our family of five. With a six-year-old, 12-year-old and 13-year-old in tow, we enjoyed fishing and swimming in what felt like our own private lake. We made smore's by the fire pit, played board games, watched movies and dined at the Pine Valley Restuarant for multiple meals (great food and very friendly service), and checked out the nearby town of Renfrew. Which by the way, has the cutest coffee shop - The Vintage Kettle- and a 100 year old theatre!! Loved it! Julie was very sweet and responsive to all of our needs. The kids are already asking to return again next year. This was one of our best vacations yet. Thank you Julie!!!"

  • Awesome Home!

"The house is excellent. Great location, with many restaurants and good places to go near by. Upon arrival the house was immaculate and very well organized with a bunch of nice touches. Easy check in and everything we needed was there. Fantastic experience all around! Niagara-on the-Lake is a ridiculously beautiful location, and the house, quite honestly, had the nicest curb appeal on the street. What more could you ask for?"
