  • What a great property, just what we wanted

"This property met all our needs and there were 5 of us so there were a lot of needs. The house is large and more than comfortable with all the amenities you would need (perhaps with the exception of small pans) and our children loved the fact they were located in their own area downstairs."

  • Great place for a family reunion

"We're a family of 8 adults and 5 grandkids, living in Toronto, NYC, and Nova Scotia. The oldest was 85, followed by 80, right down to the youngest at 7. We booked online and clarified requirements, etc., and we were delighted with the digs. Most of the house is "bedroom" but then so is everything else in BMT. We were close to the Village, to the ski trails, etc. -- all walkable. We had more than enough room with a few double/queen bunks. The bathrooms were together on the main floor, so if one was in use, then the other one was usually available -- and you knew it, without having to leap from floor to floor. The spacious room with the fireplace (the Christmas tree was a nice touch) was a winner, lots of kitchenware and two fridges. We were just a family, so no loud parties (and we could not hear anything from the other side), and we are food oriented, so it was cooking all the way with good wine and beer. We used the patio in winter for turkey and conch. The place was clean and clear. Mobility was an issue with the stairs to the large room at the top, but at least there were bedrooms across from the washrooms. The defining question is actually: would we return with this large crowd? And I would say YES.."

"Everything you need to have an fantastic get-away is here. The cottage is warm and cozy...the kind of warm and cozy we seek: room enough to relax and play and "be" in... but not so spacious you echo around like you do in some larger cottages. The cottage unfolds as you enter from the main is deceiving how large it actually is. There are so many opportunities to enjoy the space...the privacy of the bunkie, the views from one of the upper decks, the living room by the fireplace, meals in the dinning room surrounded by sliders that open on both sides for appreciating nature, and, of course, the lake for swimming and boating. The kitchen is well appointed and there is plenty of room in the fridge and pantry to manage a week's worth of supplies. Whether you come by yourself, with your significant other, or with friends and family you will not regret this rental. Its a gem."

  • Great location and great for kids

"The house is perfectly situated very close to the lake so kids don't have to deal with steep hill and lots of stairs to get to the water. Great shallow entrance into the water with a bit of sand and plenty of grass space to play lawn games are perfect as well. Marina with water skiing and equipment rentals is 10 min car ride away. Tennis and basketball courts, park and kids playground is a 10 minute walk. All these amenities made our stay with 4 adults and 4 kids lots of fun. The house itself has a great fully equipped kitchen. Rooms are quite small and older but comfortable anyway with plenty of storage. Overall we had a good time and hope to come back again some day."
