  • Relaxing, close to town, roomy

"we had a lovely time staying at the 'grand.' We had more than enough room with 5 young kids and 4 adults. The kitchen was completely outfitted for our culinary adventures. The beds were comfortable and the space was well laid out for comfort and privacy, with 2 families we each had a generous amount of space. Close to town and an easy walk. We hope to go back again next year. Great for families, couples, girls getaways, very flexible space."

  • Ideal for a winter family retreat.

"The cottage is well-equipped and spacious, sleeping 10 comfortably. However, it is the location and orientation of the cottage on a point of land overlooking the white pines and the frozen lake, visible through the generous placement of windows throughout the cottage, which makes this property so special. Add the ambiance of a warm crackling fire in either of the two large stone fireplaces (with ample split firewood readily available) and you have the setting for a wonderful family retreat. We also enjoyed the ping pong table and cross-country skiing and walking in the woods on our cold but sunny weekend. Thanks for the memories."

  • A beautiful spacious home on a small acreage.

"This property is an easy drive from Toronto Pearson Airport. There is an excellent grocery store in the nearby town of Caledon. The house is just as pictured. Clean and outfitted with all necessities. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Ample space for more then one cook in the kitchen! A bonus for us was discovering the cupboard of board games ... they provided a lot of entertainment. The owner was delightful to deal with! I would love to go back some time and highly recommend this property."

  • Beautiful is just a start to describe this property

"Very very very happy with the house and how convenient the location to public transport, shopping areas, and petrol station so we're not scouring the suburb for petrol. The house it self is quite luxurious with massive kitchen utensils variety and condiments, you name it, most probably the house have it in the pantry, my family also liked the digital thermostat where setting the temprature as simple as 1,2,3 Pity we're unable to enjoy the big backyard and the pool since we arrived during the winter snowstorm, but we did enjoyed the entertainment room at the basement with it's massive tv. extra extra bonus point for our host communication speed considering I'm halfway across the world when I have several questions even before I confirmed my bookings. We will definitely rent this property again whenever we're visiting Canada in the future."
