  • Wonderful downtown condo, convenient to everything!

"My husband and I visited Toronto this past weekend (9/16/2016 to 9/19/2016). The main purpose was to attend a World Cup of Hockey game. We stayed at Kathy's condo in the ICE tower. It was steps away from most everything, including the Air Canada Centre. The condo is lovely! Very modern and the perfect size for my husband and I. Kathy stocks it with almost everything - water, sodas, consumable bathroom items, consumable kitchen items and linens. All you need to supply is the food items you wish to eat. However, if you don't want to cook, there are several eating establishments nearby. The condo has a fairly large balcony with a partial view of the lake. Kathy keeps the condo very clean and well maintained. She is also customer service friendly and answered all our questions. She even met us at the condo when we arrived! My husband and I took the hop on/hop off tour, but unfortunately could not sit on the open air top since it was raining which limited our viewing. And we visited the Hockey Hall of Fame (of course!). We also visited Casa Loma and the Aquarium. All were within walking distance except Casa Loma which can be reached on the hop on/hop off tour, or by public transportation (we used the subway). Thank you Kathy for allowing us to use your condo!"

  • Once we booked emails and texts were promptly answered. I'm not sure why previous reviews suggested

"Once we booked emails and texts were promptly answered. I'm not sure why previous reviews suggested the place was different than advertised. This place was exactly as it appeared on the photos. Only on the 2nd floor -however- which means some inevitable street noise. The place was clean and well stocked. It would have been nice if there was a binder or sheet of do's and don'ts and instructions. For example there were no extra garbage bags that we could see and we did not know what to do with recycling or garbage. We also did not know how to operate the high tech cook top but eventually figured that out. We didn't know if we should put the towels in the washing machine or not upon departure. The location was great for us as we were there for ball games. It was a 10 minute walk to Rogers Centre. The way this place could sleep 10 is that there is a futon type of sofa in the alcove in the Master and there is a queen air mattress and extra bedding. There are 2 walk in closets which were good for getting dressed as we weren't sure if the white blinds in the bedrooms were a bit transparent. The rooms become bright as soon as it is bright out - which didn't bother me. But if you need a dark room to sleep this isn't for you -- or bring a sleep mask. One of the bedrooms that faced the water was very hot in the day. Our host arranged for our luggage to be kept at the security desk after we checked out until it was time to leave for our flight. That was appreciated. The decor is very nice and we felt good staying there. Wish we could have stayed longer but it was just a weekend trip. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were great for our family - parents and 2 adult couples."

  • Wonderful cottage for a wonderful getaway

"This cottage is clean, attractive and beyond adequately supplied with all that is needed for preparing and eating meals. A small stash of oils, s&p, vinegar, etc is available. Double bed is comfortable. View is lovely. Lots of games, books both fiction and reference, provide activity and info for a Bruce Peninsula visit. Bruce Trail maps were very helpful. No wifi (we are from US). Propane fireplace is totally adequate to heat the entire cottage on cold nights (we were there in early October and it did get cool). Beach is rock, mostly flat, so plastic kayaks (2 are provided) are fine, but you don't want to scrape high quality kayaks/canoes over it for putting in, unless you don't care about the unforgiving rock's scratchiness. Narro paths connect back to front of cottage, but one is well lit and easy to navigate. Nice little fire pit, great decks for lounging, eating, sunning, etc. Nicely located close to Tobermory, but still feels remote and private, and it is a great headquarters for exploring anywhere in the north Bruce Peninsula. We were unable to get a response from this website when trying to book, thought we were being dismissed, but had good luck when rerouting our inquiry through trip advisor. It was worth the extra effort to book this reasonably inexpensive, comfy, very attractive, fun and hip little cottage. No regrets, totally satisfied."

  • Amazing "Mini Resort"

"This immaculate and modern bungalow exceeded all our expectations! Clean, cool, and inviting with everything you would expect to find in your home away from home. We enjoyed lazing around the pool, lounging on the "lanai" and BBQing by the backyard pond. The owner and his wife were fabulously friendly and generous, going above and beyond making us feel very welcome and at home. I highly recommend this "mini resort" for your Ottawa stay."
