  • Super spot!

"We have loved this cottage so much (we are still here, leaving in 2 days). The listing is very accurate, and the property was very clean, modern and spacious. The owner was very easy to contact and prompt at responding to any questions. The beach is my favourite on the island that we saw (we've been to over 15 on this trip). It's got the nicest dunes, white sand, red sand, and the classic beautiful red cliffs every traveler is dying to see. We came with our 10 month old and the cottage was pretty easy to baby proof too. Out of the 3 cottages we rented on our stay, this was our favourite. Although you do have to drive to the beach (or a 10 minute walk, which is not great with a baby), the drive is down a dirt road, so you don't really need to buckly up because the speed limit is 15km/hour. It's a very romantic little drive, and I loved doing it every time. There is also a little parking spot reserved just for cottage renters, which was great. LOVED this cottage and will be coming back!"

  • Best of PEI!

"I've stayed in a few places in PEI before with my family, but this was the first time it was a group trip with my friends. This is definitely the best place in PEI to stay! First of all, if you want to see and explore all of the island, you can do so, because of it's central location. We drove to both of the furthest points, stopping just before each so that we could ride our bikes to both of the lighthouses (North Cape Lighthouse (rode from Harper) and East Point Lighthouse (rode from Basin Head)). It's a short drive to Summerside for large box stores, groceries and liquor stores if you need anything. But it's really close to get to Malpeque Bay for the best oysters and we really enjoyed the fresh lobster suppers, both at restaurants and made at the cottage. Close to deep sea fishing, so when we brought it back to the cottage for dinner, it was the freshest fish I'd ever tasted! We did get to Charlottetown for a day and then an evening as well, taking a brewery tour and then experiencing a lobster supper with amazing chowder, and some of the local bars. If you have a chance please visit Point Prim Chowder house, you won't be sorry you tried the creamy seafood chowder and experienced the most beautiful sunset (about 1.5 hours from the cottage but well worth it!) Everyone talks about the stars but I've never seen the Milky Way so clearly in all of my life. It was nice to be on one of the best beaches that's actually private. My friends raved about the cottage and I was so happy that we booked it! The owners were so helpful, very responsive to any questions and made sure our stay was comfortable."

"This was our first visit to PEI and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The owner was absolutely wonderful to deal with right from our first inquiry; she was so helpful and accommodating. Her attention to detail was impressive and appreciated. The house was immaculate, spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable. Our favourite place in the house was a stunning sunroom at the back where we spent our mornings relaxing and reading. Outside, the gardens were beautiful. The house is a short distance from the beach and Victoria by the Sea. We walked to both on several occasions. The cottage is centrally located for easy access to all parts of the Island. We would not hesitate to recommend Grove Cottage and its’ owner to anyone looking to visit PEI."

  • Clean, well kept home, walking distance to restuarants/park, close to beaches in lovely harbour town

"We enjoyed this home and our stay in North Rustico. The home is clean and has all the basic amenities, including a room air conditioner in one bedroom. No wifi, but we used area restaurants for internet access. Home has a bbq and front and back decks with a view of the town and harbour from second floor deck. Walking distance to park, restaurants, even a community theater. Beautiful beach area was a 15 minute walk (or few minutes drive). Home included a National Park pass. A short drive to Cavendish and about 15 mins from Brackley Beach. We would stay here again."
