  • Beautiful PEI home

"Spent three months last summer living in Floyd's house, and loved it! He's very friendly, great company, and has a beautiful home and property. The house has a wood burning stove for those unexpected cool rainy nights, a gorgeous garden, plus he bakes! Oh, and he's very connected to the community, knows all the best ways to get lobster, feet on a fishing boat, which island festivals to take in. You'll have a great time staying here."

  • Very Impressed

"Everything we needed was there for us. This is a modern, very clean property in a beautiful location. We couldn't have been happier with our vacation and had unbelievably good weather, with wall to wall sunshine and temps in the low 20's (centigrade) all week, incredible for early October. Only disappointing thing was that many of the better restaurants had closed down for the season. Bicycles and even golf clubs were available. We'd love to return next year if circumstances allow."

  • Restful and Rustic.

"We enjoyed our stay at the "Tiny House" very much! All the amenities of home were provided to us. The surroundings are picturesque and perfect! Access to shops and restaurants is all within walking distance. The Boardwalk along the waterfront is a great walking/sightseeing path, lots of photo opportunities re: the fishing boats, etc. The house itself is ideal for two persons and like it states on the homeaway sight it is tiny! We had a short, pleasant visit with the owner as well, told us lots about places to go and things to do! Our only concern was the lack of smoke detectors in the house(maybe this is not required, or we did not spot a detector). All in all,a lovely place to stay and vacation, gorgeous view of the fishermens' shanties along the harbourfront too!"

  • Location, location, location, seafood, seafood, seafood

"What could be better than living on one of PEI's most scenic harbours with an award winning restaurant directly opposite (The Blue Oyster) and possibly the islands best takeout next door (The Yellow House). Its a tiny house but modern and big enough for 2. Walk the boardwalk to the amazing beach or hit the trails, its all here. Our host was available and responsive. Couldn't ask for more. How tranquil."
