  • Absolutely stunning

"If you are looking for a relaxing private getaway - here is the answer. We had not been to PEI for over 27 years and I was excited to find such a great looking cottage online. The cottage did not disappoint. It is as gorgeous as the pictures show. We arrived from Alberta just at sunset and witnessed the gorgeous sunset from the deck before we were able to go and get groceries for the week. The cottage was clean and ready when we arrived. The property has lots of grass and the other cottages were rented when we were there, but there is so much room that we didn't notice the other guests. Great for families with small kids, but also great for adults. We had six adults in our group and everyone had a great time from the hot tub, to relaxing on the deck to walks on the beach. It was wonderful to have satellite TV and internet for the couple of rainy days that we had. It is amazing how far you can walk at low tide. Robin the owner is wonderful to work with and had all of the paperwork organized before we got there. We had lots of phone numbers if we needed them for the caretaker if we needed anything during our stay. We highly recommend this place. If you are a larger group, or grandparents who want to travel with their children and grandchildren, or 2 grown siblings and their families, consider renting both cottages. A great way to vacation together, but not in the same cottage. We will certainly rent this again the next time we are out to PEI."

  • Our new favorite place to be

"We just returned from our vacation on the island, and we are already talking about returning. This home was everything we hoped it would be. Though it is a "log cabin", it is hardly rustic. The house is impeccably kept and had all the amenities we could want from kitchen items to internet service. It was as good or better than the description and pictures in the site listing. The caretakers made our stay especially pleasant. They checked to make sure everything was in order, and then spoiled us with fresh quahogs and warm, buttered biscuits. A highlight of the trip for our 12 year old son was a ride on their boat, and helping unload the quahogs at the dock. We could easily explore French Acadian villages, Charlottetown, and all the beautiful island scenery from this cottage. But, our favorite activity was staying home and exploring the long stretch of beach that didn't have anyone else on it. The views from the cottage are endless in every direction, and not even rainy weather could spoil this. It was exciting to sit by the window, or step out onto the wrap around porch, and watch the white caps on the water as the storm churned out to sea. A place that is enjoyable, even in bad weather, is a rare find. Thank you, Joanne, for a perfect vacation. We hope to return some day."

  • Great spot away from the typical tourist attractions

"Modernized all season house/cottage with a well stocked kitchen for easy meal prep. Bedrooms are a nice size with firm beds. The full bath is very spacious. Two separate sitting areas on the main floor for comfortable relaxation or reading. The large windows overlook beautiful fields and a bay. Nice walking path to the water front where you can sit and relax on some well placed chairs. Close to the coop grocery store in Wellington, Green Park with the Yeo estate and ship building museum. As well as an alpaca farm that is open for tours is located just down the road. The location is very quite. Sleeping with the windows open to enjoy the fresh island air will not be disturbed by outside noise. We had a great time and would highly recommend this home to family and friends visiting the island."
