  • Family wedding

"Wonderful home. We travelled from three provinces to gather for a family wedding. Fresh muffins and stocked pantry and fridge to get us started was appreciated. So close to grocery store. Easy access to drive downtown to see the harbour and shops. Giant deck with BBQ and a fire pit in back yard. Flowers in the front and back yard to beautiful. Would stay again for sure"

  • Charm, Convenience, and Civility

"Where do you start after a summer of living in and at 6 Grafton St ? Let's start with Charm. A lovely old family home near the west end of Grafton. It is spacious, beautifully furnished, equipped with all the amenities of home, well-landscaped, spacious bathroom, excellent climate control, off-street parking, and a delightful deck. Convenience you ask !? Well here's a few suggestions : Need bikes and helmets ? Don's got them stored in the shed and ready for you. A morning walk in the park .... you are less than a leisurely 10 minute walk to the serenity of Victoria . Actually, other than the 5 to 10 minute drive to the Atlantic Super Store or Sobey's, you can access countless Charlottetown venues of all kinds within a 20 minute walk from "home". At 6 Grafton, you will be at the epicenter of residential convenience to downtown delight. Heather and Don will come running with a smile of their face if you need help with anything beyond your purvey. We just don't have enough space here to list all the things that you can do/visit to eat, drink, and be merry as each day unfolds around the magic that is Prince Edward Island . Whether you need rest, adventure, or both, you are in for a treat at 6 Grafton ! Last, but arguably, the most important - civility. I have never seen or experienced so many smiling faces and helpful countenance as my wife and I encountered in Charlottetown and all of PEI. Pedestrians rule the streets and motorists smile as they motion your right-of-way. Efficient servers and cheerful bartenders ! Helpful neighbors ! Patient and helpful shop keepers ! I think you get the idea. I hope this review helps you, and know that while it may seem a bit lengthy, it's only a synopsis of our recent 74 days at 6 GRAFTON STREET !"

  • Excellent vacation home

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home. The home itself was very clean and modern and it had all the amenities that we required and then some. The property was very tidy and well kept. The neighbourhood was very quiet and peaceful with no indication that we were only five minutes from downtown. I was very impressed that the owner contacted me on our first day to make sure everything was satisfactory. I especially enjoy the beautiful from the back deck while relaxing in the jacuzzi. We will definitely be adding your home to our itinerary for our next stay in PEI. Thank you for helping make our stay a very enjoyable one. The Butlers"

  • Classic PEI Gabled Home!

"Staying at Fairfield House puts you in a PEI state of mind. The century old home sits on peaceful Augustine Cove off of a quiet red dirt road. Each room in the house is decorated exquisitely with an "Anne of Green Gables" charm! There are amazing views from all of the windows offering ocean views from both of the king bedrooms and lush potato fields from the other two. We spent a rainy day making home made potato chips with fresh picked, delicious PEI potatoes and playing games in the lovely parlor. After gorgeous sunrises over the cove we began our day opening our Bibles and sipping coffee on the deck overlooking the water. At days end we stargazed by the sea. The ever changing tides gave opportunity to walk and explore the cove. Sue and Alan are very attentive and responded to us within a few hours of our inquiries. They are warm, friendly and committed to making your stay comfortable. The house has an abundance of towels and linens including beach towels. A must is to experience "Wicked Fries" in Morell while biking the Confederation Trail. The beautiful country roads offer endless scenic rides. Victoria By The Sea is a quick ride with charming stores and tree lined streets to meander around. This is truly a special home and we are grateful to have spent time with our family here."
