  • Location, location, location

"We just returned from a wonderful week at Summerhaven. Our sibling reunion wouldn't have been the same anywhere else. We enjoyed crisp mornings overlooking the ocean, long walks at low tide, amazing lobster dinners, bike rides along the country roads and much more. We were astonished everyday by the care the owners took to ensure everything we could need or want was there for us. This cottage has so much charm to enjoy on cool or rainy days, but on most days, the social spaces outside are perfect to gather everyone. The location was central enough that we were easily able to take in all the regions on the island. The pictures really don't do it justice... you will be pleasantly surprised."

  • Luxury Condo!

"Our stay in Charlottetown could not have been more perfect! From the beautiful, well-furnished, spotless and well located condo to the gracious hostess, Miriam. Miriam and Jeff have thought of everything that you could possible need. We enjoyed watching the ships come into port and being able to walk to Peakes Wharf, many restaurants and shops. Restaurants that we would recommend: Peakes Quay, Lobster on the Wharf, Water-Prince Corner Shop, Leonhard's Café & Restaurant, Yolk Breakfast & Lunch, and Pizza Delight. Be sure to sample Billy Timber Ice Cream at Peakes Whart. Tours: HippopotaBus, Prince Edward Island Brewing Co., Canadian Potato Museum, driving to Cavendish and Eastern Shore lighthouses. All-in-all, we had a memorable vacation on Prince Edward Island!"

  • What a memorable trip!

"Our family had a wonderful time at Fairfield House! It is centrally located, so far less than an hour drive to many desirable locations - Cavendish and North shore, Charlottetown, Summerside, and beyond! We enjoyed having the water at our doorstep, and walking the beach during lower tides was a great way to spend time, looking for shells, sandcastle building, wading in the warm tidal pools, etc. The house itself is very large and spacious, we are a family of five and it was more than adequate space for many more than that number, lots of living area beyond the bedrooms, and a lovely view from all rooms, particularly the water views from the living room and screened sun porch. The house is decorated very tastefully but not at all fussy, and our kids 9-14 were very comfortable. The house is well provisioned with everything you need to set up in a home away from home, and the hosts are very welcoming from the time of booking, to sending info about the house and PEI destinations prior to our travel, to the end of our stay. The only regret we have about our trip is that we only had a week to spend in PEI! Next time we come to Fairfield House we hope to plan for a longer stay."

  • Private, Clean, Fantastic views

"A very welcoming beach house with great amenities. Well decorated, bright, and very clean. There is a screened in front porch as well as the large screened in sunroom out back with a beautiful view of the ocean. When the tide is in you can hear the water clearly and it lulls you to sleep in very comfortable beds. Fresh takeout lobster is a mere 7 minute drive away!! Mary is very organized and has a well equipped kitchen and laundry room. The only thing missing is some instruction on how to dig for clams! LOL"
