  • We have returned three times

"My husband and I rented this lovely located cottage in 2012 for two weeks and I rented it with 4 of my women friends for a week in 2015 and again this past July 2016. The cottage is beautiful, very clean, spacious and well equipped and what a location. This cottage is close to golfing, theatre, and WOW what restaurants, our special one is THE DUNES the Lobster Pub in Victoria. The sunsets from the porch are UNBLIEIVALBE. We loved walking for miles when the tied was out, It is so peaceful and relaxing. Thank you again."

  • Great location for a quiet visit to the peaceful island

"We recently returned from our week at the Sea Seekers: Bed by the Ocean. The house was exactly as described. The master bedroom had a comfie bed and a great island breeze, no need for the fan! Since we are a couple, we did not use the other 2 bedrooms. The owners provided bottled water which was a plus. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the deck barbecue was a great place to prepare the wonderful local seafood. The best part was the deck and the stairs to the beach. The owners provided 2 light weight Adirondack chairs which we used to sit right on the edge overlooking the Gulf of St. Lawrence where we enjoyed watching the fishing boats, birds, seals and sunsets. Great location for golf at Crowbush, Brudenell River and Dundarave--just a 50 minute drive. Have lunch on the upstairs deck at Crowbush and enjoy watching the golfers. A closer 9 hole course, the Rollo Bay 9 hole course, was a hoot and easy to walk for $25. Don't miss the hiking in the national park at Greenwich, Basin Head where the beach is awesome and the history lessons worth the time, buying mussels from Mussel King (a local grower) in Morrell, the fish market in St. Peters, and the lighthouse at East Point. If you can and it is tuna season go to North Lake and watch the fish being off loaded and processed at the dock. While you are there eat at Pirates Boathouse Cafe. The location is quiet and traffic minimal making it great for Star our Schnauzer. Charlottetown, Georgetown, Cavendish and Wood Islands are an easy hour drive away. Owners are responsive and great to deal with. This is a come back to place on a very special island."

  • Our new favorite place to be

"We just returned from our vacation on the island, and we are already talking about returning. This home was everything we hoped it would be. Though it is a "log cabin", it is hardly rustic. The house is impeccably kept and had all the amenities we could want from kitchen items to internet service. It was as good or better than the description and pictures in the site listing. The caretakers made our stay especially pleasant. They checked to make sure everything was in order, and then spoiled us with fresh quahogs and warm, buttered biscuits. A highlight of the trip for our 12 year old son was a ride on their boat, and helping unload the quahogs at the dock. We could easily explore French Acadian villages, Charlottetown, and all the beautiful island scenery from this cottage. But, our favorite activity was staying home and exploring the long stretch of beach that didn't have anyone else on it. The views from the cottage are endless in every direction, and not even rainy weather could spoil this. It was exciting to sit by the window, or step out onto the wrap around porch, and watch the white caps on the water as the storm churned out to sea. A place that is enjoyable, even in bad weather, is a rare find. Thank you, Joanne, for a perfect vacation. We hope to return some day."
