  • Good location, clean, comfortable

"The manager of the property is great to work with. It is close to city center...about 4 blocks. Our only real complaint is that the beds were hard and not as comfortable as we would like. The bathroom is a bit small as well. The unit has everything you will need for an easy stay. Shopping advice: The best stores are a bit of a drive, but worth it. If you take Grafton St. towards town, then go right on University, in a couple of miles there is a huge that area are two large grocery stores...also a WalMart and many other stores of all kinds."

  • Great place , breathtaking sunsets

"Very clean and modern cottage , very private , nice beach to take walks and make campfires but the water is a little cold for children to swim .breathtaking sunsets are amazing Wow! Great photos to take of the herons that enjoy the stream every day. Make sure to pack on groceries in O'leary before you arrive , it's a 15 minutes drive to get there . Make sure to go to North Cape , wonderful place nice restaurant , the hiking trail is fun and very easy for kids and worth it.So in general the Victoria house is a perfect cottage to get away from city life and relax but prepare to drive if you are there to visit the traditional tourists areas"

  • It really is as lovely as it looks in the pictures

"This is a really lovely house in a great location. We could have spent the whole week just sitting around the house reading from the huge library of books, enjoying the elegant decor and the tranquility. We made the obligatory trip to Green Gables while we were on Prince Edward Island, but felt that we got a much better flavour of the LM Montgomery stories from Cold Comfort Farm. The house had everything we needed, including a very well-equipped kitchen, a drawer full of old towels for taking to the beach, and even advice on how to get the very tame garden birds to eat out of your hand. The owner was also very helpful in passing on information, e.g. about a local bridge being down."

  • Best of PEI!

"I've stayed in a few places in PEI before with my family, but this was the first time it was a group trip with my friends. This is definitely the best place in PEI to stay! First of all, if you want to see and explore all of the island, you can do so, because of it's central location. We drove to both of the furthest points, stopping just before each so that we could ride our bikes to both of the lighthouses (North Cape Lighthouse (rode from Harper) and East Point Lighthouse (rode from Basin Head)). It's a short drive to Summerside for large box stores, groceries and liquor stores if you need anything. But it's really close to get to Malpeque Bay for the best oysters and we really enjoyed the fresh lobster suppers, both at restaurants and made at the cottage. Close to deep sea fishing, so when we brought it back to the cottage for dinner, it was the freshest fish I'd ever tasted! We did get to Charlottetown for a day and then an evening as well, taking a brewery tour and then experiencing a lobster supper with amazing chowder, and some of the local bars. If you have a chance please visit Point Prim Chowder house, you won't be sorry you tried the creamy seafood chowder and experienced the most beautiful sunset (about 1.5 hours from the cottage but well worth it!) Everyone talks about the stars but I've never seen the Milky Way so clearly in all of my life. It was nice to be on one of the best beaches that's actually private. My friends raved about the cottage and I was so happy that we booked it! The owners were so helpful, very responsive to any questions and made sure our stay was comfortable."
