  • Great apartment in a great location!

"My husband and I visited Charlottetown recently to visit aging parents and attend the Fall Flavours Culinary Festival. Working with Sandra was a delight from start to finish. We arrived very late (1:30 am): instructions for the apartment key and parking instructions were excellent. The owners had provided some staples so we were able to have coffee and breakfast without having to run out and immediately shop. The apartment was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Location was excellent for walking downtown, to the Confederation Center, to the festival at the exhibition grounds to nearby restaurants and to the beautiful water Boardwalk. Sandra and Ernie were available for any questions we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the island and would highly recommend the Brighton Apartments if you are looking for a comfortable accommodation in a historic home close to downtown Charlottetown."

  • Perfect Home away from Home!!!

"Stayed with a few friends for a fishing trip. The house is absolutely immaculate! Beautiful ocean front views and the house is extremely clean. Gorgeous hardwood floors throughout the house and a nice big living room and good kitchen. The back deck has chairs for relaxing in the afternoon and there's a big screened-in gazebo in the yard which is great for grilling our relaxing. The house is located just outside Souris and there's a few nice restaurants close by if you don't feel like cooking. You also have access to walk down the beach to relax. I highly recommend this place to stay and the owners are wonderful and very accommodating people!"

  • Fabulous place to stay!!

"We just returned from a weeks' vacation on PEI. This home is immaculately clean, with plenty of space and a cozy, warm feel. It was extremely well appointed, and my husband and I along with our 2 children and my parents wanted for nothing. The pool is HUGE and heated, and we even went in and had a blast on cold evenings because the water temperature was great. The owner was so easy to work with and very pleasant, and I cannot say enough about Donna and Jaime, who are the caretakers. They are the loveliest people on the planet, and do an amazing job. With its central island location, you can drive just about anywhere, though the home is so nice you may not want to. The beach at Basin Head is a bit of a drive(but a beautiful drive), and well worth it with a pristine beach, fantastic amenities, a great little place to each some delicious pub food, and an area where you can jump into a river from a bridge and float on down to the main beach. I was told it was listed as the best beach in Canada, and we could certainly see why. Highly recommend this house."

  • Beautiful location and lovely cottage

"Easily one of the nicest rentals we have stayed in, this cottage was absolutely lovely, comfortable and well equipped. It is well maintained, and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable and there is plenty of linens and kitchen supplies. There are two bedrooms with queen beds, one upstairs with its own bathroom, and another downstairs with a full bathroom across the hall. Perfect set-up for two couples. The bedrooms are a good size and there is ample storage space. Add comfortable sofas in the living room, one a pull out bed, and you have everything you need including a washer and dryer. Plenty of seating outside as well including a gazebo. The location cannot be beat; simply wonderful and relaxing. The cottage is on the beach with a short walk, or golf cart ride, down to the shore. When the tide is out you can walk for miles on the red sands, and its a child's delight to play in. When the tide is in there is still a sandy area that you and sit and watch the scenery. All the times we were on the beach we saw only one other person. We walked the beach down to the end of the point to the Chowder House which has wonderful food, just make a reservation if you want to stay for dinner. It is about 2 km up the road. There is also a nice art/craft gallery next door, and a good 9 hole golf course 10 minutes away. If you take the ferry, it is a quick 20-25 minutes drive from Wood Islands, so convenient. The only drawback was our time there was too short. We will be returning in the future. Loved it!"
