  • Very nice "cottage" and more like a home.

"The five days we spent in the cottage was a good experience. It is located with a good view of the Northumberland Straits. There is no beach access as the cottage is located on the cliffs above the sea. It is isolated and very quiet, with only two other cottages in the vicinity. The dirt road leading to the home is OK, but requires some mantainence. I had an SUV and it was fine, even in the rain. The cottage is well supplied and clean. There is no TV reception, but a DVD and computer hookup to the TV. Lighting good be better for reading in both the master bedroom and the common area. Overall, it is a good accommodation."

  • Wonderful Home for Our Adult Family of Ten

"My siblings and spouses couldn't have chosen a better location and we just loved this beautiful Victorian. It was spacious and accommodated us well including the ample kitchen for our many eat in dinners. Having a full bath for each bedroom really sealed the choice for us. Also the one bedroom on ground level was perfect for my sister-in-law with MS. The original fireplaces in some of the bedrooms were amazing. We even enjoyed the horse & carriage tours that went by each day. We didn't realize how close we were to Victoria Park until we arrived and found it to be a stones throw away. Took advantage of its lovely boardwalk and ice cream stand. Highly recommend taking in the Lt. Governor's mansion and Beaconsfield House both just across the street. The bedroom on the third floor is stunning but we gave it to our youngest as that many stairs take stamina. Being close enough to walk downtown was a bonus and we enjoyed some of the unique shops. This home is as good as any five star hotel and you won't be disappointed. One of the outside steps needed a repair and management sent someone right out that day to fix it. We would highly recommend renting this gorgeous home!"

  • Fantastic

"We've stayed with Homeport twice now, once with Portside and once with Starboard and Portside. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience both times. Quiet and private on a fantastic beach with a great amount of exposure at low tide for ankle OR knee deep exploration. It's very clean and well maintained and Darryl is a very friendly and attentive host, Great guy! Never met Leslie but I'm sure you're a gem too It's P.E.I after all and everybody seems happy to see you. It's located on the quiet end of P.E.I but there's still plenty to do without all hubbub of the center Island vacationing crowd. We LOVE that. We'll definitely be going back, thanks for everything!"

  • AMAZING!

"We had an AMAZING time in Point Prim. Jan, our host, was great in making sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and knew the lay of the land. She was always there to help with directions or give suggestions for things to do with our day. The log cabin is adorable. Small with 2 bedrooms, but perfect for 3 or 4 people. There is a porch at the back that overlooks the ocean which is beautiful at night. There is a house next door, but it's a ways away, do there is lots of privacy. There is a very nice restaurant just down the road from the cabin that has delicious seafood and an amazing view off the ocean. Definitely sit outside if you go. Overall an amazing trip. If we ever go back to PEI, we will definitely be booking with Jan again! Highly recommend!"
