  • Comfortable, well-organized for four and well-located for amenities

"The owner is very responsive and helpful. The condo is nicely designed and comfortable for four adults - not really suited for children - close to restaurants, services and sports."

  • Peaceful and well appointed home base while in the Laurentians

"We stayed four nights at the Lakeside Cottage and enjoyed our entire stay. The chalet is very comfortable, with a very well appointed kitchen with all of the equipment and amenities required- we like to cook so that was an important feature for us. We even baked banana bread while we were there. The chalet was very clean with no pest evidence which was great. I like that the linens and towels were provided as it prevented us from having to pack additional baggage. We brought our own DVD series to keep us amused at night as there is one TV channel, but later discovered a DVD shop in Val David that has thousands of titles so presumably future guests on longish stays could avail themselves of that source for movies, etc. The wood stove kept us cozily warm and we especially loved that there was a bucket of bird seed to refill the feeder. Flying squirrels came to the feeder at night for a visit which was very cool. Would definitely stay again if visiting the Laurentians. We only ate out twice (breakfast both times) because we spent our days outdoors, and so were happy to cook in once we had settled into the chalet at the end of the day. There are a number of restaurants that we may have wanted to try, however we did eat at one of the most famous ones for breakfast (restaurant de petit poucet) on a Tuesday on our departure day. We tried on the weekend but the wait was over an hour for a table, so we went to a restaurant on the other side of the intersection/same side of the highway instead (la grillade due nord)and it was in our opinion a far superior breakfast (http://www.valdavid.com/repertoires/details/la-grillade-du-nord/), and for a better price to boot. I recommend the combination breakfast with the french toast (a killer french toast), with fruit, meat of choice, two eggs, toast, and home fries. Really much better. I hope that you enjoy your stay at the chalet and in the area as much as we did."

  • Beautiful private home right on the slopes

"We rented this house in March 2017 and were impressed by pretty much everything. Angelina was a pleasure to deal with, and the location was special, to say the least. We were a family of 10 adults and 4 children 5 and under, and there was plenty of room for us all. Angelina was kind enough to provide us with a Queen air mattress for the fifth couple, and everyone fit just fine. The house is well appointed, with a large table and spacious kitchen. Each day, as we spent time eating, we would just look out the windows and watch the skiers come down the hill -incredibly relaxing -and addictive! The mud room was a very pleasant surprise, as our ski gear got a chance to dry each day, and everything stayed in one place. All in all, we enjoyed a wonderful ski vacation in a spectacular setting. We'll be back! Thanks so much, Angelina!"
