  • Fabulous location close to everything!

"We were five women on a cycling trip to the Eastern Townships and this townhome was perfect...close to the cycling trail, close to kayaking, within walking distance to the beach and downtown Magog. We used it as a base to cycle the Route Verte to Mount Orford, North Hatley and Sherbrooke. The accommodations were very clean and we took turns cooking dinner every night...it worked perfectly!"

  • Perfect Winter Vacation Spot!!

"Five couples visited from 1.21.2017 to 1.28.2017. The accommodations were immaculate upon our arrival. When we needed assistance with minor problems in the house, they were quickly and pleasantly solved by the local property manager. In addition, there were adequate linens and towels for changes for our week-long stay. Key to our annual friends' vacation is the art of cooking for each other. The house made the experience enjoyable because the cooking equipment was extensive, varied and easy to maintain. We especially enjoyed that there were plenty of china plates and other table ware & utensils for the size of our group. In addition, the owner, Valerie, though located far away, was easy to contact and able to assist with expert guidance when we needed serious emergency medical assistance for one of our party. As for facilitating our outdoor play needs, there was ample parking for five + cars and the access road was plowed regularly throughout the week. This was done early and often, as snow and sleet were regular and welcome features throughout the week of our stay. We never were impeded when we left the house to travel for Nordic skiing, skating, snow shoeing and other pursuits. In addition, the area has many location extras (sites to visit, shopping, and varied dining options ) all within a less than 30 minute driving radius. We would all recommend this site highly for the reasons described above."

  • Le Castor / The Beaver was exceptional relaxation and peace in the woods!!

"Our group loved our stay! The log home is cozy and incredibly well stocked with all kitchen supplies one would need, beautiful fluffy towels, an ample indoor woodpile for the wood stove, and lovely quiet location for relaxing and solid night sleep. The hot tub under the stars with snow falling softly was dreamy. After skiing - coming back to The Beaver was so wonderful - a fire, glass of wine and relax!!"
