"I stayed here with various family members for 5 days while my brother competed in the 2016 Ironman. We were a total of 9 people ranging in age from 15 to 78, and 3 small dogs. The house was big enough for all of us and has lots of places to hang out in small groups or alone, inside and outside. Fantastically well-equipped kitchen, and a 2nd full kitchen downstairs. Very clean and welcoming. The location was perfect- 10 minute walk to the beach, 20 minute walk to get to the pedestrian village. The house is on the ironman running route so very convenient for us."

  • Very Clean Cabin With Spectacular Views in a Lovely Town

"We just finished a wonderful stay at the cabin and enjoyed our time tremendously. The interior of the cabin is very clean and very well cared for. It is the perfect cabin layout with an ideal combination of coziness, but enough space to not feel cluttered. If I were to ever build a cabin, I would copy this design. The kitchen was well appointed with all the dishes and utensils we needed. Plenty of towels, and the washer and dryer was a great bonus. We used the kayaks to paddle in the clear and beautiful lake. The town (Lac Mercier) was loaded with wonderful restaurants, which generally had a more quaint and better feel than those right in Mont Tremblant. The views from the top floor bedroom windows were so spectacular and picturesque. The sun rose over the mountain in the morning, and set behind us in the evening setting everything in a magical glow. A couple of things that kept this from being 5 stars for us. There is a camp in the lot behind the cabin - we could see the 10 or so semi-permanent tents as we pulled in the driveway. We could hear the campers at night and throughout the day. And when we kayaked past their main lodge on the lake - we found out why - there were probably 150 or so teenage kids dancing playing volleyball and other games and playing music. Nothing unruly, raucous or disrespectful - Just a lot of teenagers in your backyard. Nothing the owners can do about this, but it does temper the experience of a quiet mountain get-away. Then again, Tremblant is not where to go for total remoteness as there's a good bit going on. Also, renters should be aware that the kayaks are across and down the street and through the driveway of another house (not in the best condition - looks semi-abandoned) and down a steep lot through some foliage that is mildly overgrown in some parts. I think we rented with the impression that the kayaks were either on the cabin property or in a common area - rereading shows that was my mistake. Once you get there, it's a nice pier and sandy bottom lake to enter the kayaks - but getting to and fro is a bit of a journey/adventure. The owners were very good about letting us know they were there if they needed anything without interfering in our stay or privacy. I received emails with information about arrival and kayaks and bikes, etc. There is apparently a caretaker "on-site", but we never saw any signs that he was there (a positive thing for us - as we didn't need him). Great Value!"

  • The perfect pied a terre in Vieux Port

"We are a couple in our 60's, stayed in this lovely condo 5 nights. Although some may have an issue with climbing 2 flights of stairs, (and 3 more flights to the rooftop deck), we just viewed it as exercise! It is extremely clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped with a kitchen and a washer/dryer. A five minute walk takes one to the Vieux Marche, a wonderful enormous market where vendors sell a huge variety of local fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, cheeses, wines, ciders, wines, beer, pastries and other local delicacies. Petit Champlain and the funiculaire to Haute Ville is a ten minute walk. There are shops and restaurants just outside the rear of the building. Parking is conveniently located across the street, and the boardwalk is lovely. We enjoyed every minute in this condo."
