  • What could be better?

"We had a terrific time aboard the boat, sitting in the hot tub, watching fireworks on Christmas eve, having Christmas dinner around the fireplace in the cozy living room. Jade and Chelsea were gracious hosts, helpful with suggestions, and easy to contact when/if we needed them. We were on the boat in the heart of winter, but were never cold--the gas fireplace and heating system for the sleeping area, living room, and hot tub were all more than enough. The location was ideal--both for viewing the fireworks and the special Leonard Cohen tribute on the clock tower and for visiting the old port. It was an excellent launching point for walking tours of the old port and, for those with enough ambition, a climb up Mt. Royal. We had a fine four-day stay and wish we could have been there longer. We'd have welcomed more time in Montreal--so many great restaurants and bars, beautiful views, interesting places to explore. The boat was ideal--windows on all sides overlooking the port, park and old Montreal, comfortable living and dining rooms, professional kitchen, neat beds in compact sleeping areas, hot tub on deck. A plenty unusual place to stay, the boat gave us a sheaf of good memories. Many thanks."

  • Nice apartment in a nice neighborhood

"My partner and I decided to spend New Year's Eve in Montreal and really enjoyed our stay in Christophe's apartment. It looks just like the pictures and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was a residential area just a few streets removed from a main street with a lot of shops and restaurants. It was a ways outside of the downtown area, but that wasn't an issue since we had our car with us. We we able to find on-street parking in the neighborhood easily, even though it was in the middle of a huge snow storm. Christophe was responsive, helpful and generous in his interactions. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend the place."

  • Welcoming home

"We were very impressed by the stunning renovation. All materials were top quality and the decor was thoughtfully chosen. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was fine. The location was ideal for anyone using public transit while the choice of cafés, bakery ( flaky, buttery croissants), and restaurants offered us a wide range of cuisines within walking distance. Communication between the owner and us was prompt and attentive. All in all, highly recommended."

  • Quintessential Montréal Apartment

"This was a very comfortable and well-furnished apartment for our visit. The host was always accessible for our inquiries. Small amenities were particularly appreciated: electric space heaters adjustable for each room, a towel warmer next to the shower, the toilet separated from the shower/bath, and cork(?) flooring underfoot throughout. Watching eight inches of snow fall while we sipped hot chocolate and enjoyed a home-cooked meal was idyllic. Lapin Pressé and Le Fromentier are just at the end of the street and offer terrific coffee, bread, pastries, cheeses, and dried meats. La Banquise serves their famous varieties of poutines a bit further away but still within a reasonable walking distance--a very good idea after eating a poutine. And Parc La Fontaine provided perfect sledding for the young at heart. We would have been happy to stay for much longer if our travel plans permitted it. Thank you for sharing your home with us."
