  • Beautiful, perfect find for us

"I am so grateful to Dawne for renting her beautiful apartment to us! Our "group" over the New Year's Eve weekend consisted of two adults and one 13 year old boy. We were so delighted at our choice when we arrived. The apartment was clean, spacious and perfectly located for our needs which were basically to enjoy the snowy weather, walk everywhere we wanted to go, and to have an amazing place to cuddle up by the fireplace and even to cook a little bit. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was every bit as well equipped as my own kitchen, the apartment is a lovely combination of historical charm and modern convenience. Access was super easy, Dawne was responsive and helpful and a great host. We parked about 1/2 block away, the neighborhood is upscale and very slightly off of the busy tourist Old Port shopping and dining streets. We hope to stay again when we return to Montreal."

  • Downtown at the Tour de Canadien

"I did not know much about Montreal prior to this trip. This vrbo was an excellent place to start. We were lucky enough to happen upon this clean, beautiful, modern condo building in downtown Montreal. Chris was kind enough to receive us in the lobby and tour us around at 2:30 am as our weather had delayed our flight. She also provided us with some pastries, clementines, coffee, and milk for the morning. The thoughtfulness of this kind lady is refreshing. We were a bit rushed for the train on our way out; she even drove us to Gare Central. The building is partly owned by the hockey franchise, The Canadiens, and is adjacent to Centre Bell. For those who love hockey, it is very convenient. We were able to catch a Chicago Blackhawks vs. Canadiens game during this week's past blizzard. My first NHL event. The gym was an added bonus as we did enjoy the foodie scene while here. It's clean, modern and all the equipment is good. I never did get to the pool or sauna. It is close to a Metro Grocery store, so for those budget minded travelers, you can grab some things for the kitchen there. There is also a metro line on the same block. This is super convenient for those into public transportation. We found this location convenient to walk to Chinatown, Old Montreal, Old Port, Latin Quarter. We were a bit more distance to the Plateau area but as always, Uber saves the day. Great stay. Would do it again for sure."
