  • Five Star Accommodations for a Three Star price!

"What a wonderful experience! I have not a single negative thing to say about the listing and our stay!!! Yes, it does indeed deserve three !!! Great email communication before our arrival. Rene was waiting for us at the airport for pickup. The van (though not new) was large and fit 6 of us and all our luggage (1 large bag for each couple) with room to spare. The house is in Ladyville, close to Belize City but safer. Ladyville is safe to walk around during the day but not at night. House has a fully chained and locked fence for complete safety. The standard transmission van enabled us to travel to Lamanai: the tallest of all the ceremonial Mayan ruins in Belize, near Orange Walk. We also drove out to the zoo (a must do!), cave tubing, rv-ing and zip lining with Butts-up. It is about 45 minutes to the water ferry in Belize City to head out to Caye Caulker, where we went to snorkle and enjoy the laid backness of the island. We even had the opportunity to drive out onto the Hummingbird Highway to go cave spelunking and cave tubing (very different from Butts-up) at the Blue Hole National Park. Rene is on call at all times and took care of an unexpected flat tire without delay. Make sure to read all the reviews as they are all helpful with your stay."

  • Well needed vacation!

"This Villa was wonderful and peaceful. Away from traffic and crowds. Which is exactly what I was wanting. The ocean being a step away was awesome. We so enjoyed our stay. For Breakfast we enjoyed at the Villa while lunch and dinner we enjoyed out. The store was only a few min away and fairly expensive compared to home. Because the Villa is away from downtown area, I do recommend renting a car to get around, using a taxi can be costly. I must say it was a challenge getting use to driving on the left side of the street. But the locals helped out ALOT. I recommend using Kyla Ralston & Associates Ltd to rent a car from. The car was at the airport waiting for us upon arrival and was very reasonable. Thank you Cathy. Your Villa was beautiful and we will be back."

  • Perfect

"If your not into the perfect location and home don't come here. Only a mile from town and footsteps away from a great palapa bar serving good food and drinks you can't beat Casa Paradiso's location. And the three bedrooms and three baths on the ocean is everything you want. the pool sits next to the house offering places in the sun and in the shade beneath coconut palms. Walk the beach to any one of several restaurants serving great food. We didn't have one bad meal. Or you can stay home and cook whatever you want in the fully stocked kitchen; even lobster delivered to you while you enjoy the view and breeze. And this perfection comes without tourists! There are no mega resorts with lots of tourists or peddlers to annoy you . Forget Cancun, come to the island of perfection where you only need to speak English. This was our second and best trip to Belize and if you DON"T stay at Casa Paradiso...then there's just something wrong with you."

  • little bit of heaven in Tobago

"this house was just lovely... carefully situated in a neighborhood with other houses, it seems you're all by yourself in this tropical paradise! The kitchen was functional (you're on vacation, not slaving over a hot stove!! so it's perfect), the bedrooms clean and the view from the pool is just stunning. Had dinner in more often then not because it's the best view on this beautiful island. Marlon was a perfect host and kept things running smoothly. We rented a jeep which was probably necessary given some of the steep roads on the eastern side of the island, and the driveway! Another tip - we came in on a late flight, and just made it to the car rental place before it closed at 9pm. If possible, don't fly in too late. other then that... bring the sunscreen and enjoy! there was always a gentle breeze so my bug spray stayed in my suitcase, untouched. Love Moments!! we will be back for more!"
