  • Beautiful Villa in a quiet and relaxing setting

"This villa was fantastic and was perfect for me to relax and rejuvenate in the sun. It was well kept, spacious and has amazing views of the sunset in the evening and the sea from the large balcony upstairs. The outside area with the superb sized pool (which was cleaned regular) was great to cool down in after the warm heat of the Caribbean sun and the property has many outside tables and chairs so you are spoilt for choice on where to eat your meals, read or soak up the sun etc. Lastly, the deal with the Veranda Hotel is an added bonus as you have access to all their facilities including a gym, crazy mini-golf and water activities. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone who asks as it will not disappoint you in anyway."

  • Fabulous view. Fabulous terrace. House is very spacious with a Caribbean feeling

"We plan to come back year after year. The privacy and large terrace make it a joy to be outside--in fact, it takes a lot to tear ourselves away even to go to the beach which is only a few minutes away."

  • Wonderful stay at Emerald Dreams

"What an incredible time we had at Emerald Dreams. We stayed the month of March and it was a "Dream". The townhouse is as described, well-maintained, comfortable, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you will need to self cater. We enjoyed coffee and our breakfast on the deck each morning, packed a picnic lunch in the provided cooler, and hit the beach. The townhouse is situated on a quiet well maintained street within the gated secure marina community. There are restaurants (el Porto, and The Crows Nest) we enjoyed. Many more to try. The Epicurion grocery store is less than a 10 minute walk and will meet all your needs including a liquor store. A 2 minute walk and you have arrived at Castaway Beach bar and a beach worthy of being described as one of the Caribbean's best. The colour of the water and the sky are often hard to believe as real. We did have a car for the month which allowed us to visit other beaches close by, Valley Church beach where you will find loungers and umbrellas for rent ($5 each) and The Nest (enjoy their lobster for lunch) and Ffrys Beach, also with loungers and Dennis's for lunch. We also took the local bus to St Johns, catching the van like bus just outside Jolly Harbour gate ($3 return pp, 20 minute ride). Quite an experience and saves trying to find parking in St Johns. Make sure you go to Cuties for lunch. We also splurged and went to Sheer Rocks for lunch. Make a reservation for a daybed and plunge pool (11:00-4:00pm), tapas for lunch- delicious. We made a daytrip to English Harbour and had lunch at Boom (again make a reservation and enjoy their infinity pool for the afternoon). I could go on and on recommending all the wonderful things to do while staying at Emerald Dreams. We were well taken care of by Denise the housekeeping/property manager. We can't wait to have another opportunity to visit Emerald Dreams."

  • Beautiful Villa, Wonderful Vacation

"What a lovely villa at the St. James Club! Martine and Peter have done a wonderful job making this a comfortable home with lots of amenities. It is beautifully furnished and decorated and stocked with everything you need for a perfect vacation. Mamora Bay and Cocos Beach are steps away and both are excellent for relaxing, swimming, and sun bathing. If you like a pleasant, cool breeze while you are on the beach, Cocos Beach is the one to enjoy. Mamora Bay is very calm and great for children or those who prefer a gentle swim experience. The villa is a short walk to a very nice spa and a good restaurant, Piccolo Mondo. The grounds at the St. James Club are well maintained; everything is neat, clean, and bright. Be sure to check out the guest guide book that Peter and Martine provide; it is full of helpful information about great places to visit and dine. We really loved Jacqui O's. I definitely recommend this property!"
