  • Very good place to stay close to Jolly Harbour Marina.

"The apparement was clean and quiet. Everything was there. The pool is clean. The washing machine is not working very well and I also suggest to buy new skillets, but all the others appliances are very good."

  • The house was very charming - exactly what we expected

"A great stay, and just minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants. Jolly Harbour is really a perfect area for vacationing with the kids."

  • A little slice of paradise

"Our family of 5 adults enjoyed 10 wonderful days at this stylish and comfortable waterfront home. Some rental properties can feel sterile or seem bland, but this is clearly a much-loved family home. Furnishings and finishes are of a high standard and the property is very well-maintained. In many ways, the pictures don't do the property justice. Jolly Harbour itself is a great base to explore Antigua - we rented a car, but also recommend renting the property's golf cart for getting around the complex - though the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. There are very good restaurants within the complex, a good-sized supermarket and a lovely beach. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property - Clive was a pleasure to deal with throughout, and the whole process - from initial booking to the return of our security deposit within 24 hours - was quick and easy. We have some wonderful memories from this vacation, and picking this beautiful house on the water was a huge part of making this a wonderful trip."

  • Delightful time!

"Well, my friend Michael B in the previous review got it right for a change. I agree with all the raves in the other reviews, so I'll add some extra stull. We are a group of 7, two couples and three singles who are approaching senior citizenship. There was plenty of space for us. We do most of our own cooking and bring our own meat with us. The grill was good and we cooked a turkey and prime rib in addition to hot dogs. For me, the best part was dealing with Roger the owner. We have rented many houses in the Caribbean and I can say that he was THE best I have worked with. Prompt and honest replies to any of my concerns. The rest of the staff was super; very kind and helpful although there weren't any problems to deal with. Iris of Sunny car rental was a bit more "relaxed" in her replies. (Island time?) Don't worry, she is capable and helpful, and the van was what we wanted. The house is in a convenient location, quiet, close to supermarket, and a glob of beaches on the Caribbean side with quiet waters, beach bars and lounges for $5 First time in Antigua, we did a fair bit of exploration in 2 weeks. English harbor and Shirley Heights. On Sun, steel drum band and barbeque. Betty's Hope plantation, Long Bay and Devil's Bridge. It takes a lot to impress some in our group but Devil's Bridge story left us a bit speechless. Enjoyed a sail on Jabberwocky. For us, much better than a catamaran with 50 others and loud music. We went wild at the Sheer Rocks restaurant, very upscale but worth the experience. Enjoyed lunch at Ana's, medium upscale on beach north of St John's. And, of course, fish and chips at the joint down the hill. All in all, delightful house on a delightful island"
