  • Beautiful island, beautiful villa.

"Our family spent a week at Tamarind Hills and enjoyed every minute. The villa is just as good as it looks in the photos, it is very comfortable and well equipped and a great place to relax. Restaurants and supermarket are a short car journey away. The villa faces west which means you enjoy a fabulous view of Montserrat and the setting sun. Gill was extremely helpful with advice and guidance, it being our first visit to Antigua. It won't be our last! Highly recommended."

  • Relaxing stay in a beautiful house

"There is so much to love about Villa Sunset. It all starts and ends with the beautiful view from the house onto jolly harbor and the surrounding beaches and mountains. Nothing beats laying back with a Wadadli (local beer) or some English Harbour (local rum) and watching the sunset. There are also many things to do in Antigua including nearby beaches and boat tours leaving from jolly harbor. The setup of the house is great. The three rooms are spacious and private, and have great views. The common space and kitchen are well-equipped. The epicurean supermarket is also just down the hill and has everything you need for home-cooked meals. The management company's personnel was very helpful and courteous, particularly a gentleman named Bancroft. Ditto for the reception people at the Sugar Ridge hotel."

  • Our 3rd visit and not our last

"We again thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Birds & Bees. Every day was a perfect, if we went to the beach, went to the harbor, or just stayed and enjoyed the pool. Janie and Geoffrey were the perfect hosts and made the whole experience very comfortable. This was our third stay in Antigua and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. The Falmouth part of the island is our favorite and Birds &a Bees a wonderful place to stay."

  • A Perfect Place

"Just back from My Brothers House. This is the perfect place to go if you want to stay in a traditional Antiguan house in a small local village overlooking the ocean. The house is pretty with a lovely garden and although some may say a little worn it is comfortable , clean and has everything you need. The view from the balcony is to die for. We arranged a pick up from the airport by a local man who was just charming, friendly and helpfull. He stopped at the supermarket so we could get supplies. Jenny met us at the house, what a delightfull lady. You really do need a car but busses are cheap and regular. There are beach bars and restaurants within walking distance. The beaches are beautifull and you can hire sun chairs. Do go to Shirley Heights on Sunday evening, well worth the visit. In some reviews people have commented about the dogs barking. They really dont bark that much and the sound of the cockerals crowing is quite nice. Remember you are in a local village which mostly is quiet peacefull and safe. We have stayed on the island before in various resorts but when we return we will be staying here again. This was one of the best holidays and we have travelled a lot. Stay here, you will not be dissappointed i can assure you. we will be going back next year. Thankyou Jenny"
