  • Perfect view, perfect home and amazing VRBO home owner.....Crabtree family consisting of 4 adults

"First and foremost Stephanie is amazing to work with you when renting her home. I have been a VRBO renter for nearly 20 years and I put her in the top 1% that I have worked with over the years. She makes sure your have the best accommodations possible. Villa Sea Glass has the most beautiful view looking over Jolly Harbour. You will end each day around the pool appreciating your stay and relaxing. We would enjoy our days exploring then come back for time around the pool to watch the sunset before diner. The home has everything you will need so just bring yourself and clothes and you are good to go. The grocery is so close and the use of the gym at Sugar Ridge which connects to the villas by a nice path was a plus. All the bedrooms has ensuite bathrooms and the beds are super comfortable with air-conditioning in each bedroom. The breeze is so nice that comes through the main room. Every light and electronic device is labeled so you do not have to spend time figuring anything out. We did bring a Bluetooth speaker to have by the pool for our music but there is music made available inside. We ate breakfast in each day but went out for lunch/dinner exploring the beaches nearby. Fryes Beach (Dennis Beach Bar), Valley Church Beach (The Nest Beach Bar- free beach set-up for Sugar Ridge guests), Loves Beach (Jacqui O's Beach Restaurant with round beach beds). We went over to Long Bay then to Devil's Bridge but it is pretty far away. We rented a car and so glad we did to travel around the island. Picked it up at the airport and Stephanie provides you with great directions to the villa. Upon arrival she had a very nice welcome for us. The staff is so nice and very accommodating. Restaurants: Sheer Rock a must but make a reservation to have a great table to watch the sunset! (try the grilled scallops and pork belly); Jacqui O's was probably our favorite meal for lunch but plan on getting there early or staying late and rent the beach beds. (Crab salad, ravioli, mahi sandwich a bit pricey BUT worth it); Al Porto for Italian food-the pizza and calamari are amazing. the best calamari I have eaten, so I went again for take-out; Melini's and Miracles are good but the others are my favorite; We had the best burgers by the pool at Sugar Ridge. Excursion: Extreme Adventures Antigue-loved it! (Stingray City plus you see the entire island, snorkeling ) ; Shirley Heights on Sunday night a must but get there by 5:00 for the best seat for sunset (40 min drive/$8)"

  • Surprise Follow By Pure Relaxation

"The pictures of the property were amazing but did not adequately show the property. I did a walking tour video to show it better but have been unable to upload. The house and grounds are subject to an almost constant breeze. If the house had been built on an angle the breeze could have offered a more efficient cooling. As it is the breeze interferes with the flame on the stove. This necessitates the closing of 2 small windows which In turn will instantly make the main house warm to hot. The view is beautiful from all angles. The pool is refreshing and spacious. Every building holds its own charm and character. The lower studio has the best access to the breeze and at times too much access. The house is about to receive electrical power which will reduce and or eliminate the need to run the generator. The water for the house is totally from cistern which will require the " yellow is mellow; if it's brown flush it down" edict. This was of no concern to our group as we are of a conservation mindset. The property is well cared for and simply "paradise". Bring your own food (meats must be frozen solid and have the USDA seal visible. Dry goods were packed in a separate bag). The roads are horrible and, by my professional opinion, dangerous. A island car service can provide transportation if you find the need to venture out. We did a trip to Long Beach which was so pleasant and refreshing. We had no trouble amusing ourselves with games provided and music and movies we brought with us. It was an adventure and one of (if not the) best vacations we have ever experienced. The caretakers Sarah and Randy are beautifully amazing people with a vast knowledge of the island and property."
