  • Perfect view, perfect home and amazing VRBO home owner.....Crabtree family consisting of 4 adults

"First and foremost Stephanie is amazing to work with you when renting her home. I have been a VRBO renter for nearly 20 years and I put her in the top 1% that I have worked with over the years. She makes sure your have the best accommodations possible. Villa Sea Glass has the most beautiful view looking over Jolly Harbour. You will end each day around the pool appreciating your stay and relaxing. We would enjoy our days exploring then come back for time around the pool to watch the sunset before diner. The home has everything you will need so just bring yourself and clothes and you are good to go. The grocery is so close and the use of the gym at Sugar Ridge which connects to the villas by a nice path was a plus. All the bedrooms has ensuite bathrooms and the beds are super comfortable with air-conditioning in each bedroom. The breeze is so nice that comes through the main room. Every light and electronic device is labeled so you do not have to spend time figuring anything out. We did bring a Bluetooth speaker to have by the pool for our music but there is music made available inside. We ate breakfast in each day but went out for lunch/dinner exploring the beaches nearby. Fryes Beach (Dennis Beach Bar), Valley Church Beach (The Nest Beach Bar- free beach set-up for Sugar Ridge guests), Loves Beach (Jacqui O's Beach Restaurant with round beach beds). We went over to Long Bay then to Devil's Bridge but it is pretty far away. We rented a car and so glad we did to travel around the island. Picked it up at the airport and Stephanie provides you with great directions to the villa. Upon arrival she had a very nice welcome for us. The staff is so nice and very accommodating. Restaurants: Sheer Rock a must but make a reservation to have a great table to watch the sunset! (try the grilled scallops and pork belly); Jacqui O's was probably our favorite meal for lunch but plan on getting there early or staying late and rent the beach beds. (Crab salad, ravioli, mahi sandwich a bit pricey BUT worth it); Al Porto for Italian food-the pizza and calamari are amazing. the best calamari I have eaten, so I went again for take-out; Melini's and Miracles are good but the others are my favorite; We had the best burgers by the pool at Sugar Ridge. Excursion: Extreme Adventures Antigue-loved it! (Stingray City plus you see the entire island, snorkeling ) ; Shirley Heights on Sunday night a must but get there by 5:00 for the best seat for sunset (40 min drive/$8)"

  • Perfect Rental for our trip

"LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the place. It was simply perfect!! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there and the villa made the trip for us. The unit looks exactly like the pictures and it was stocked with all the items we truly would need. It provided us with the best of both settings. We felt truly secluded while in the villa, while we also had the option to mingle with other guests when we wanted. Best wrap-around deck and stunning views of both pool and ocean from every angle. Peter was fabulous and answered all of my questions prior to arrival. Both the housekeeper and onsite house manager, Pascale, were just lovely. Pascale even provided us with local cell phone for our use during trip. Wi-Fi worked great in villa and decent cable channels available. Definitely recommend stocking up at Epicurean, the larger grocery store on your way from airport. And having a car is a good idea. Best beach around is just down the street from resort. We waited until our last day and wish we had started the trip there (we would have been there everyday if we had). We plan to return and will certainly be re-booking with Peter."

  • A Little Slice of Heaven!

"We recently returned from a ten-day stay at Sugar Shack and cannot say enough in praise of this lovely cottage and its owners, Ilse and Bill. To begin, the cottage is located on an immaculate, beautifully landscaped and maintained property only a short walk from Dickenson Bay. In addition to the lovely beach there, one is also pleased to find three very good restaurants: Putters, Ana's and Coconut Grove...very different from one another, but all good. Another local restaurant, truly a hidden gem, Stella Ristorante is nearby, has great sunsets and fabulous food, not to mention delightful owners! (Thank you, Ilse, for that great recommendation!) Sugar Shack itself is cheerful, cozy, well-appointed and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped and much more than just functional, a real bonus when you return after a day of sightseeing or just "beaching it" and simply want to unwind with a relaxing meal at home. A perfect venue for dining and just putting your feet up, the beautiful tropical deck with its comfortable furnishings and spa is a real delight. In short, Sugar Shack provides a most tranquil vacation atmosphere, and it is in a great location. Finally and simply put, the charm, helpfulness and overall hospitality of Ilse and Bill is absolutely superlative...One could not ask for more!"

  • Fantastic Villa in Antigua

"This really is the most amazing villa. We spent 10 days there with children aged 14 & 12. We all LOVED it. Absolutely incredible views, beautifully furnished. Has to be one of the best villas in the area. Stunning master bedroom, so much space throughout, even the wardrobes are enormous! The pool was fantastic with really lovely sparkling clean water and kept regularly cleaned. Everything you need is provided. The reciprocal agreement with the Veranda Hotel was an incredible bonus for us and meant the children were able to windsurf, sail and kayak everyday. The villa even has a proper basketball hoop which my 12 year old absolutely loved. Highly recommended."
