  • Coco house

"The overall stay at coco was all we anticipated and more. Roger is a fantastic person and he responds. Wet quickly to any questions asked. Hazel the housekeeper is amazing and no job is to big. The villa is clean and met all of our needs. The cooker is a bit slow and the utensils could do with updating however everything else at the villa is just fantastic. Who cares about pots and cookers when your in paradise. The pool is great and the outdoor seating areas are great to sit and chill on in the evening .. the villa is close to the beaches (valley church and jolly beach) and other amenities like the supermarket and good places to eat. So good was our stay and so impressed with the owner roger and his staff that we are booked to return next year.. go on do it you know u want too.. happy holiday"

  • Fantastic villa

"Our family (seven people across three generations) spent the week from Xmas Eve to New Year's Eve at Villa Azura. It was a fantastic holiday. Azura is a perfect house with an amazing layout for relaxing and enjoying an indoor/outdoor life. The walls of the house seem to disappear upon request. We enjoyed all of the amenities of a modern house while feeling as if we were outside/poolside the entire time. Azura is perfectly equipped and thoughtfully designed and supplied. Mitzie (the housekeeper) was very friendly and attentive. The location is fantastic, although a bit remote from the "hot spots" on the island (it may be something of a stretch to consider Antigua to have "hot spots" in the nature of Mexico or Hawai'i). We made frequent trips to Half Moon Bay (our favorite beach in Antigua), which is about a 25-minute drive. We also went into English Harbor for a few meals - also about 25-30 minutes drive. The east (Atlantic) side of Antigua seemed a bit more breezy, but that just kept the bugs away. All in all, we could not have been more pleased with our holiday and Amanda and James were fantastic hosts. A few observations from our trip - you need a car, but don't make it a nice one, as the roads on Antigua are brutal. A sailing charter on the Caribbean side is a terrific day out - we booked the Jabberwocky in Jolly Harbour and had the boat to ourselves with the husband/wife crew - just amazing. We would highly recommend Villa Azura and Antigua for anyone who is happy with a holiday that is not centered around a "commercial" nightlife."

  • Beautiful house and island

"Our 3 night stay was definitely not long enough. Great house, very clean, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. REALLY comfortable bed in the very large master suite. The house is well laid out for up to 6 people, everyone has room, privacy and a bathroom! Nice private pool for a morning or evening dip. Resort has plenty of water sports (all at extra charge, but very well run, well equipped and was not outrageously expensive). Wifi and tv was spotty service, but hardly needed when there is so much to do. There is no clothes dryer as the listing states, just a washer, but clothes lines available to hang dry. Very helpful book in the living room with restaurant, activity and shopping recommendations all over the island. Close to English Harbour and Long Bay which we enjoyed very much. Thank you Williams family!"

  • Excellent stay in Apartment 3

"This was our second stay at Hamilton House, previously we stayed in Apartment 4. The apartments are set in lovely tropical gardens with a great pool and sunbeds. The garden apartments are especially good for the variety of birds that visit and apartment 3 gives easy access to the pool. The apartments are clean, very well equipped and although we prefer to eat out on holiday, you could easily cater for a family. Beds are comfortable, plenty of wardrobe & drawer space, including hangers. Overall good value for money. Favourite beaches: Ffryes and Valley Church. Favourite eateries: Dennis', Miracles and Mellinis. Also recommend Hemmingways in St Johns. Looking forward to our third visit."
