  • Great property - generously equipped - wonderful views - couldn't fault

"Had a wonderful fortnight stay at Yellow House - We've stayed in many villa properties and have never had one as thoughtfully or generously equipped - the living areas are spacious and balmy breezes flow through the property from the large lounge through to the splendid master bedroom. The whole property is spotlessly clean, decorations abound and the rooms feel most welcoming. We spent many happy afternoons watching the super yachts coming and going in Falmouth harbour. The villa is a short drive into the English Harbour area replete with many excellent restaurants and cafes. We were spoilt for choice in the evenings - but catering at the house is also an easy option with a gas barbecue available which cooks chicken, steak and fish to perfection. Thanks to Tina and Tony for looking after us during our stay. We would recommend the villa to our friends without hesitation and would certainly return to Antigua and stay there again."

  • Fantastic property, exceeded all expectations

"This was just a magical property. it is as good as it looks in the pictures. Well appointed with fantastic views over the bay, only a 2 min walk to a wonderful beach. We self - catered and really enjoyed the well-appointed kitchen with great facilities. The bedrooms were of a very high standard and all equally good with great beds. The property was immaculate and well maintained. Our main aim was the snorkeling, which didn't disappoint, and my husband went diving which was again excellent. There are so many wonderful beaches within a short distance from the house. Nathan and Clare couldn't have been more helpful, both before we arrived and on arrival. Nothing was too much for them, they always responded to queries promptly. They sorted out the taxi, car hire, diving and more. We plan to return as we feel there is so much to discover and enjoy. There are a couple of pricey restaurants, but you can get some fantastic local food from the roadside shacks and cafes situated all along the main road into English Harbour - some open at lunch, others in the evening. We enjoyed Katie's Snackette! A cocktail at Cloggies overlooking the harbour is a great way to while away an hour or so! A local restaurant tucked off the main road, Taste of the Caribbean, was really enjoyable and to be recommended. There are a few local supermarkets, we found Bailey's the best stocked. We were lucky enough to see the start of the RORC600 round Islands yacht race which we watched from Shirley Heights - despite not knowing one end of a yacht from the other we got caught up in the excitement and thoroughly enjoyed the event."

  • Beautiful tranquility

"Fourth visit for my husband and I, and we are returning next year! The stunning views from Cliffhangers decks fill us with peace and tranquility. Soaring above the ocean with the harbour, mountains, sky and gorgeous gardens below is a truly an amazing experience. We look forward to our return visit all year long. The house is perfect as well. Very comfortable, well appointed and even the shower is open to the views! Katherine , the caretaker is available and very helpful. We love Cliffhanger!"

  • Dream Vacation!

"We wanted this vacation to be memorable and magical as it was the first time our joint families were meeting as my Soulmate and I have been together 20 months now and our adult children are spread across Canada. This villa certainly met that requirement! We spent countless hours around the infinity pool taking photos of the magical sunset and playing in the pool. Some of our gang rented a jeep and discovered the local environment and we took in a couple of memorable day excursions including a catamaran/snorkelling adventure plus a deep sea fishing trip following which we enjoyed the Mahi Mahi that was caught! The setup of this villa is a perfect layout for a large group as you have space to have quiet time away from the ones who want to chat. The only thing I would suggest(not a complaint at all) is to fix/enhance the water pressure in the kitchen. The dishwasher really does not properly clean so we ended up hand washing everything each time we tried the unit. We would also encourage replacing the coffee pot with one that is larger to accommodate 8 people. Glasses and cups to accommodate 8 would be great. These are minor things but over time they have likely been broken with various guests. I hope the island will consider recycling as I was sad to hear that does not happen. Antigua is so gorgeous, don't ruin it with unnecessary clutter. Our blended family loved this vacation and they unanimously agreed it was magical. Mission accomplished! Thank you!"
