  • Girls trip! Plenty of room for eight of us.

"We left the kids home and met at the Surf Club. It was spacious, modern, relaxing in our villa. We used the laundry every day so came home with clean clothes. Stopped at the market on the way to get snacks and drinks. We hung out on the beach after renting umbrellas and chairs from the nice local man with the hut on the left. Some days, stayed at the serenity pool with books. Other days, sat around the pool and participated in games and lounged in lazy river. There was a particularly rowdy group of kids that were there but someone must have said something because they calmed down by the third day. (Or maybe they left?) The location of the resort is great - we walked along the beach on the sidewalk which connects all the resorts. There are some restaurants and bars along they way, so always found a place to stop. One night, we came to a pier where they had live music. They taught us to Samba and we stayed til close. Great time! Going out the front of the resort, there is a nightlife area with vendors, restaurants and bars. It was still warm at night but the always present breeze cooled us off. Our favorite restaurant was Gianni's. Incredible Italian food and very friendly. We went to Senor Frogs and had a great time but be careful! The tip was already included in the price of the drinks and they tried to add it again. There were lots of excursions to be reserved on your own or with the assistance of the resort. Some of the girls went on a four wheeler tour and got to see most of the island. They loved it, but not my thing. Some went on a catamaran excursion and I went on a power boat tour. They included drinks and lunch. Glad I wore plenty of sunscreen because the rays reflecting off the water really burned some who were not careful with coverage. The boat stopped in the open water and we snorkeled. Clear water, beautiful fish. Would do it again. Next time, I want to bring the kids and go to DePalm island. It is an all inclusive place where for one price, you receive a ride to the island, water park, water sports, drinks, snacks, lunch, etc. It looks awesome. Our view was so nice - high floor, oceanside. We could see for miles and loved having morning coffee overlooking the water. Check in was easy and our room was ready at 4:00. Reserving was easy and our price was fair. Highly recommended!"

  • An almost perfect oasis.

"We stayed at the Davidson's property the first weeks of June 2016. All of our interactions with William, from our initial interest in the property until our return home, were very professional and timely . The interior unit was very well kept and clean; very spacious and is well represented by the pictures! However, the kitchen needs to be better stocked with the basic supplies for cooking and storage. A maintenance call to the front desk took 24 hours to have them repair a small, spraying leak on the hot tub which we felt was not unreasonable. However, we were disappointed in the overall rooftop deck area due to the basic nature of the decor and the condition of the outdoor furniture. We understand that new furniture was purchased in January, but had not yet arrived due to shipping delays. I'm sure that this change alone will make the outdoor area much more relaxing and inviting. A definite consideration for future trips to Aruba."

  • Joe in DC

"We rented this unit for my 50th birthday. I've rented apartments all over the world. This unit is fantastic! In fact, this is THE BEST unit in the entire complex. It is HUGE, clean and stocked with everything you could ask for. The grocery store is very nearby but once you buy your groceries, you'll want to take a taxi back. They are everywhere. But back to the apartment. The pictures don't lie. You have your own terrace and yard that leads easily to the 3 separate pools and then across the street to the beach. We felt like we owned the entire complex. We only saw four other vacationing couples the whole time. It was super quite and relaxing. So the big question... would I rent this unit again? Yes... no question about it. Mario was easy to work with. He is responsive and all about making sure everything is right and when its not... he gets it fixed so that it is. His local representative was very nice and accessible. With that said, we had zero problems while there except for an empty propane tank in the BBQ when we arrived which was changed within 5 minutes of noticing it. Rent this place. I promise you won't regret it. We didn't. Thanks Mario for maintaining such a beautiful property."

  • Aruba Sunset team makes you feel right at home!

"Great location for those who enjoy an active vacation! Very nice studios with everything you need. The team makes you feel welcome and right at home. The property is clean and both the owner and manager provide good customer service. I would certainly recommend Aruba Sunset studios to friends and relatives. I enjoyed the close proximity to fishermen's hut and restaurants where all the action is, but the properties itself is relaxed and easy with outside barbeque a little swimming pool and well maintained lawn and patio where you can "chill". I will definitely come back to Aruba Sunset Beach Studios."
